a empty home

Why is one taken at such a young age...
How in the world do we control our rage?

One minute you're here, the next minute you're gone,
What now will fill the emptiness left in this home?

Some people say there's a reason for all things,
I search deep in my heart, but it no longer sings.

How long will it hurt, will I ever forget...
The one that took you, will I ever forgive?

It's way too soon for this young man to be taken,
It left us all feeling like we'd been forsaken.

How do you comfort a fiancee left all alone...
Just when you were starting to build a new home.

Yes, life moves on, this too will pass,
But who could have guessed this young life wouldn't last?

Our God and our faith will help us through,
Our dear, special dany, we will always love you.
