Why do you love the Backstreet Boys?

Date: Mon Feb 14 19:04:14 2000 First of all, Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! Today shouldn't be the ONLY day when people tell how much they love each other. It should be EVERYDAY:) Okay, that's enough of that...There is SO much about the Backstreet Boys to love. I mean, the list could go on and on! I guess the thing I love most about them is that they are truly a genuine group of guys who are dedicated to what they do. They're constantly trying to improve themselves and becoming better performers, producers, and even songwriters. They always keep their music as their top priority, not JUST the dancing and all the other distractions that comes along in this buisness. They're smart when it comes to buisness, as well. They know what things they SHOULD and SHOULDN'T do 'cause some stuff that other groups nowadays has really hurt their careers. Another thing I love is that they show their love and thanks for their family and friends. Even if the Boys themselves don't realize it, they DO set positive examples for lots of people. I totally respect the fact that they're honest about many things like girlfriends and stuff. I'm also glad that they don't act immaturely in interviews and stuff like the way 'N Sync does. I mean, it's cute when they do act silly but it's kinda hard to respect someone who acts like that all the time, you know? I'd hate to see them projecting something that's not real for them. To top off this BIG love list, is the fact that they are very good-looking. I don't think that their looks are necessarily the most important thing about them, though it IS a nice PLUS ;) Like the saying goes, "looks can only take you so far" and that's true for the BSB. Do you think that the they'd be in it still for alost SEVEN years on just their looks? I don't hink so! They each have a different, special something that can appeal to anyone and everyone. For me, it will always be Howie. The sweetest guy in the world, with beautiful eyes and a smooth voice. Wish he'd be MY Valentine :) I just hope Howie and the rest of the guys are enjoying their Valentine's Day and are safe out on their tour. Ok well this is only half of it cause i could go on forever!! The thing that first attracted me to bsb was their INCREDIBLE music!! Their voices are like little bits of heaven!! And they harmonize so well! The thing that really got me into BSB however was their completely BANGIN looks (especially Nick). It was LAFS (the first thing i said after i saw Nick was "god he's hott" lol)Then as time passed I learned that all the BSB are so gorgeous and talented! They can dance better than anyone and they seem so sweet! BSB also care a lot about their fans and never forget us!! After all they did say that we were "Larger Than Life!!" Just wanted to say that there's another thing that I love about them. The music. It makes the bad times good and the good times great! 2. Their personalities. Nick & Brian crack me up... they're just too funny! Kev seems like one of the nicest guys on earth, A.J. is just too cool & he makes me laugh too, and Howie's a little bit of all of those. Sometimes he's just too sweet, and other times I'm rolling on the floor laughing about something he said! :) 3. The concerts! I've been to quite a few concerts, and out of all of them, the BSB put on the best show. They had me jumpin up and down, waving my hands in the air, crying, and hugging my mom like crazy!!! Not to mention having a looong conversation with my pals at school the next day! :) 4. Their looks! :) Brian- how can I not luv a guy with blue eyes? :) and he pulls off the curly hair fantastically. Much better than some people I know (like my english teacher- wait, no, her hair's fake...nevermind) Nick- I don't normally like blonde hair, but it definately works for him! And BLUE EYES!!! ahhhh.... Kevin- Green eyes...not as great as blue eyes, but they make him look very handsome, don'tcha think? A.J.- too cool for words! Howie- also very cool. Great smile! But more than anything else, more than the music, more than their personalities, more than the concerts, more than their looks, it's how hard they work and how much effort they put into what they do. If I could only say one sentence to them ever in my entire life, no, I wouldn't say, "brian will you marry me?" or something embarrassing like that. I would thank them for all the hard work they do for us. Just think about how much time they spend on us... Frankly, it's amazing. They are also very talented in other areas also. They are very hardworking, ive heard of all the things they have to do in a day and im like man, these guys do a lot of work to keep people happy. And it seems they are very dedicated to their fans, i always read about them saying how much they love their fans and i really respect them for that.I remember the first time i seen them on t.v., i think it was on Nickelodeon or something and Brian kept looking at the camera and saying, "Wuz up" every time he did that i would laugh and from then on i became a fan. It would be an absolute honor if i could meet these 5 wonderful guys. If i ever did, i could die happy!! so all those people who absolutly hate the Backstreet Boys, you should really listen to their music and see how great these guys really are and you will know why we, the true fans really love them. They make my hardest days easy, and easy days, happy. Love them cause they're not perfect and don't pretend as if they are. Love them cause when they have girlfriends, they show them off. Love them cause eventhough they're extremely exhausted, and anybody can tell by their eyes at concerts, they go on like it's nothing and give the fans an experience they'll never forget.
