Hi!Wow there are a million reasons that I LOVE the Backstreet Boys.Well first, they are wonderful performers and are great live.Whenever I am ma dor sad I listen to them and they cheer me up.Second they are very hott!Especially Nick!I love You!Third they really care about their fans and thank them constantly for their help and generosity.Fourth they are normal people and they have feelings too.I want to congratulate Brian and Kevin on their marriages. They totally deserve it.And all those people who say very bad things about Leighanne and Kristen are not true fans. They have feelings too.You can't treat people that way.I could not say enough about how much I like them because there really is no way I can thank them enough. And my dream one day is to meet Nick Carter. He is such an inspiration to me and whoever says he is a jerk is lying.Maybe you think he i sbecaus ehe was tired and just didn't feel like talking. You know he is a real guy?I will always love the BAckstreet Boys until the day I die.I would do anything for them! I saw them live two times and they were amazing!Ok well always remember to keep th eBackstreet Pride Alive! Also vote on TRL so they can be #1!Happy 25th Birthday Brian!!I love you and hope you have a great day!!!KTBSPA!!

I could write a 10 page essay about why I love the Backstreet Boys. Their music is so positive. There are songs out there about everything that is wrong with the world, and those songs depress me. I already know what's wrong with the world, I don't really need to hear it sung. What I need to hear are songs to make me feel like everything that is wrong with the world is a million miles away. The Backstreet Boys do that. They sing songs that I can sing at the top of my lungs and feel like a thousand weights have been lifted off of my shoulders. I never in a million years thought 5 guys, all of whom are and always will be too old for me, could cheer me up no matter what was wrong. This year at school has been really horrible for me. Friends turning their backs on me, being humiliated while the teacher just sat there and completely ignored the fact that anything was happening, my grades slipping because I am constantly made fun of in school, and the like. But because of the Backstreet Boys, I've made some new friends (you rule, Carianne! you deserve to meet Nicky! you are too great a pal!), learned to ignore all the people who make fun of me, and my grades are back where they used to be, straight A's. (I had a C in math for a couple weeks! eek!) My teacher that I mentioned before is still a psycho, but I mean you can't really change aliens, now can you? Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that the Backstreet Boys have done more for me than I ever thought 5 guys who I've never met could. So, with my very very very very very times ten billion slim chances that they Boys are reading this, thanks. Thank you. Gracias. Merci. And however they say thanks in Japanese too. And every other language. And then imagine that I wrote every single one of those words over and over all over the surface of the moon. And then, I still wouldn't have said thanks enough. They have done so much for me. Whenever I'm sad, I just listen to them and I'm instantly cheered up. And whenever I'm happy and I start listening to them, I'm even happier. Their music is a way for me to escape from the world and go to a place where everything is perfect. They're my little slice of heaven. It may sound lame to some people, but we should sing Larger Than Life right back at them. Every time we're down, they can make it right. :) I've said enough for now, I really would love to keep talking but I've gotta go!

Peace, love, and flower shaped sprinkles,

~Sabrina~

I have been dying for a way to let the bsb hear this story so that I could say thank you, but unfortunately, I have been running into bery rude posers of the guys.

In May of 1999, I had a near fatal car accident which left me in the ICU for a week and unable to walk for about two months. The entire first month, I wasn't even allowed to get out of bed. I never really paid attention to the bunches of "boy bands" that were suddenly popping up, but since I couldn't get out of bed, I found myself watching a lot of tv. I saw the BSB "I Want It That Way" video on MTV and was instantly hooked. My mother went out and bought both CDs for me. It sound very tacky, but their music really got me through the recovery stage of my accident. My mother was even touched. She had to leave a baby monitor on at bedtime to make sure I was ok and every night before I would go to bed, she would hear "I Want It That Way." To this day, if she hears that song, she cries. Their music was something that made me feel really happy and excited during a very terrible struggle in my life. I have since turned 22, returned to college, and just saw the BSB at Univeristy Park, PA. It was such an awesome event! I just want all of them to know that they are very talented, special people!!!

I love the Backstreet Boys because they have influenced me, and they have given me advice personally when I met them

at their fan conference in Charlotte, NC, February 17th. They are not only extremely beautiful, but they have angelic

voices, and they can dance like no other. To me, they are the best performers of the new Millennium. I'd also like to add

that because of Brian, Sept. 17th was the best day of my life. My best friend Karen Putnam, her mother and I had arrived

to the concert early. Karen and I were on the hill close to their bus watching Brian and Leighanne play with "Lil Tyke Littrell"

as Brian said, and heard Karen's mom calling us over to where she had been waiting by the door. We got invited into

the fan conference and we had the 3rd row. Kevin was the first one I saw and he was sooo handsome and incredibly tall.

I looked again and here comes the rest of them, all so clean-cut looking. Karen was the 1st to ask them a question, as I was the

2nd one. They gave me advice on becoming a singer and dancer, because I'm moving to Orlando and attending UCF.

Karen's mother had got up to the mic to tell them how we all tried to win front row and backstage passes the night before.

As we started to get up, Leila, a very sweet girl who tours with them, told us to have a seat and she would tell us what Brian

explained to her. This lady had a video camera and a regular camera and was interviewing us, asking our opinions on

the conference. We also sang her our little "Nsync is a mistake" song. Let's just say Karen got to be Nick's "Perfect Fan"

onstage, which had been her dream since she heard the song to begin with. She loves Nick to death, as I love AJ.

We also got to be right in front of the stage, closer than 1st row, and we owe it all to B-rok. They rocked the show and I

cant wait til they come to Greenville, SC. Hey AJ, Bri, Kev, D, and Nick: I'll see ya in the front row! AJ call me!

Love ya!

Well, there are lots of reasons that I like them. Their voices almost never fail to soothe my frazzled nerves after I've had a hard day at school or if I'm feeling totally stressed out. I'm not denying that being good to look at is a plus, but they also have the talent that I look for in a group and solo artists.

They may also have saved my life. There have been times when I've felt so tired, stressed out, and depressed that I've seriously considered taking my own life. And all I'd have to do is listen to "Don't Wanna Lose You Now," and I would be able to go on and let my stress go away slowly.

I've pulled through some tough times thanks to them. No matter what, I just can't resist them. The Disney In-Concert special was on today, and if there's one song I love the most, it's "I Want it That Way."

You don't ever see them throwing sex or drugs or alcohol in our faces. My mom doesn't have to worry about me hearing bad language or talk about rape or sex or murder.

Main reasons: they're cute, they're very talented, charming,

their voices, and more than I can say here. They're also more mature and more talented than that other group, who, I'm ashamed and embarrassed to say, I used to like. I don't anymore though. I took a good look at both groups, and came to the conclusion that Backstreet is way better and wins out in every category, whether its looks, lyrics, songs, videos, style, etc.

The reason I admire the guys is because of what happened 3 years ago...

Im a primary school teacher in a little country school which has two

teachers. I teach the older children and a lot of these children come

from family backrounds in which the parents dont look after them much.

Its not that they dont care its just they are busy farming type people

and dont spend much time with the kids. Often these kids have to help

on the farm and schooling tends to take second place. I had one such

boy in my class last year who started coming less and less to school.

His parents didnt really mind if he came or not so I didnt have any

support from them.

Its amazing how attached you become to the kids in your class, they

become like your own and it broke my heart to see this "I dont need

school and I dont care" attitude in this young boy as he was an

intelligent kid and really had a lot of talents. He was I guess what

you would call the class performer, but not coming to school on a

regular basis he not only starting losing important skills he found that

he lost a lot of friends and so he would come even less, and the few

times a fornight he did come he would act up as that was the only way he

could get attention from his peers.

I realized I had to do something if I wanted to give this kid a chance

and build up right attitudes. I knew he loved being the centre of

attention, unfortunatley he had started doing this in a less than

desirable way! I decided to one day do something different for music.

I made sure that on a day he was there to play the second album

"Backstreets Back". I knew he was interested in music and it was no skin

of my nose as I love that album! We listened to it all afternoon and I

asked if any of the kids would be interested in performing one of the

songs for a parent evening. I knew this was right up his alley and of

course he raised his hand. I promised the kids that the next day I

would bring a suprise so the kids that wanted to be in the performance

had to be at school the next day. Sure enough next day he turned up for

school. That afteroon I showed them the video "Behind the scenes" which

of course shows how the guys put together the video for "Everybody" and

it showed how you practiced the dance routine and that it was hard

work.

I asked the kids who was still interested in learning the dance routine

and putting together a set for the performance. I ended up with five

boys who were keen to put the effort in and he was one of them. The

change in him was remarkable. He turned up for school every single day

for three weeks and he spent lunch times practicing. It was so lovely

to see as these five boys bonded realy well together and everyday they

said to him " you better come tomorrow because we need to paint this or

practice that, we cant do it without you".

Well needless to say all the effort paid off and the performance went

well. What was really nice though is that he had got into such a habit

of coming to school regulary and had a reason to come that he continued

to come and do well in school. He found something he was good at and

was able to show his peers that. Those five boys are the best of friends

now and they often talk about their "Backstreet Boys" performance!

So why am I writing all this? Well I guess its really just to say thanks

to the guys for the music that gave me the opportunity to reach out to this kid.

He was like one of my own so it means a lot to me.
