Why do you love the Backstreet Boys?

First Page - Previous - Next - Last - Add Entry - Other Topics - Message Boards - Exit Page 23 of 48 Submitted by lisa from kalamazoo usa Date: Mon Mar 6 15:08:44 2000 the bsb saved my life. i was about ready to comment sucide by sliting my wrists but then roll with it came on the radio! that was the only time i ever heard it on the radio but i am thankful. i hated my life cause of school. that song sends out a good message to kids Submitted by Nickole Kaye from Tampa Florida USA Date: Mon Mar 6 14:04:42 2000 I'm in a girlgroup named "DREAMY" and we recently got a record deal with Epic/Sony.We write our own songs,think up the melodies and make our own choreographies.We are 15 years old and a lot of the people in the industrie never believed in us because of our young age.Recently my group and I went to a BSB concert and through our managers we got to meet them personnally.They had apparently herd a lot about us and they wanted us to sing them something a cappella(Walla and Leighanne were there too).We decided to sing to them our first single called "WHY".They we're amazed and they all gave us a hug.Our manager had brought with her our thank you letters from the album that we are recording, to show the guys because we had thanked them in it.That truly moved them.But what moved them the most is that we had written a song dedicated to them.The one and only reason we look up to them so much is that they have truly inspired us with their amazing vocal talent and their ability to stay around for this long.We promised ourselves one thing if we ever win any award we would thank them because they are the ones who have shaped us "DREAMY" into true artists.Our first single "WHY" will be out in the summer of 2000. I used to hate bsb, I was more into metallica and limp bizkit and all those kinds of bands. I think when htey started the group, but they are still not a boygroup. They can sing, they can play instruments and they can dance. I've always loved them for their music, heck, that's what got me hooked! They have resonant, beautiful harmonies, but they also have more to offer. The Boys are wonderful role-models for me; they've taught me to strive for my dreams and always give my 100%. They are 5 guys blowing away the cynical music industry with their positive outlook on life. BSB has not changed one bit since I first heard of them; they've remained 5 humble, cordial, gorgeous guys. They deserve all the success they've received and will receive in the future. KTBPA! Submitted by natalie from florida usa Date: Mon Feb 28 23:07:45 2000 those nsync girls sure are amusing little kiddies, aren't they? i don't mind seeing their posts now and then because for me it's kind of like my "joke of the day". when i see them write what they do about 'nsync being better, and then think about how much more respect Backstreet gets from the industry, I laugh till my sides ache and the stupidity of some prepubescent girls. okay, so they're vaguely annoying, but not much... just about as annoying as the mosquitoes i like to squish. p.s speaking of such, i would say that a good analogy of backstreet vs. nsync is that nsync are just annoying little insects buzzing around the Boys' head. annoying at times, but never much of a threat.
