Why do you love the Backstreet Boys?

BSB have really helped me these last couple years, I've been in the hospital a lot and every time I went in I brought their cds or tapes just to get my mind off everything that was going on around me even though I'm used to being in "there"!!! So, I know they'll never read this, but thanks guys for making awesome songs and keep it goin you guys have years to come!!!!!!!! THE REASONS WHY I LOVE BSB!!!!! 1) AJ- what can I say about AJ, he's funky, tattooed, and most of all sexy and sweet. I just love that in a guy!!!!! Oh, and he looks so fine in "Larger Than Life" video!!!!!!! 2) Brian- B-rok is sweet, funny and has a voice of an angel!!!!!!!! Brian looks so fine in "ALAYLM" video!!!!! 3) Howie- Well, He's sweet and I love his six-pack abs!!!!!! lol!!!!!! 4) Nick- He's funny, great eyes and I just love his new haircut!!!! 5) Kevin- He's serious and also has dark deeep eyes! Another reason I love them is their faith in God and their brother-like playing around onstage and in videos!!!!! They have kept me sane when I swore I was this close to losing my temper with my family and some other unmentionable artists. They represent to me that you can go from nothing and become strong through the power of friendship and staying in contact with your family. they are always there when I need a good dance song or a good slow song. They stood strong through out alot of adversity and trying times. they stood strong as individuals and as a unit, wich is the best thing of all because they could have broken up for so many reasons yet they stood together firmly throgh thick and thin. They are all close with their families wich is great considering how they could have left them alone so many times. It is great to see men so close to their moms because that is sweet. They are also very religious wich you don't see that much anymore. They all feel they can depend on eachother to give and get good advice. They truely seem like brothers rather than some other people that think they are brothers or some birth brothers out there. they are friends off stage and even in daily non spotlight life. They are so comfortable with eachother's families that the younger sibs feel comfortable telling their sibs in the group that if they were not related then they would have one of the other guys as a brother. they kid around and it looks like they are really having fun instead of it being staged even if it is being staged for a video. They all respect eachother and their private lives and what they decide on for events and music as well as other things. They donate to eachother's charities to help those people that are less fortunate or medically challanged. they support eachothers dereams and try to help eachother realise those dreams. Submitted by Amber Dawn from SB USA Date: Tue Jun 13 23:53:18 2000 Hello, When it comes down to it, the reason I "Love" (strong word)the Backstreet Boys is not just one.I have a HUGE respect for them. They each have shown me how I can make myself a better person and what performing is really about. First of all, I'll start with Kev, he has been through hard times like myself. When I see him talk of his father and I see the tears in his eyes I can feel that pain because I've been there. It's not the same situation, but 5 years ago I lost my Great Grandmother, who we called Granny. She was the sweetest most gentle person I've ever known. Her passing helped make me realize what I wanted to be in life, what I should allow to influence me-the list goes on. When I saw the Mtv Ultrasound last May it hit me when Kevin said, "It made me realize...life goes on..." After all these years I never allowed myself to see that. So when Kevin said it I went, "Wait! He's right. Life does go on." After that show aired I found myself in awe over the fact that I could understand. That I knew exactly what he said and meant. Since then I've watched my tape of it many times and it still gets me. Although he may never read this (You never know) I would like to thank Kevin. You opened my eyes, man!! Thank you!! :) As you can probably tell, this is a long explaination. LOL Sorry about that. :) Next, was AJ. I actually connected with him right away. From the very first moment I learned of him not growing up without a father there. Because AJ is a few years older then me I look up to him for a little guidence. You see, my father left me before I was born. He was there in my life and all, but not really "there." Sure he'd show up on a weekend "once in a while" or on Christmas Eve when he was forced to think about me. It hurts to not have a father in my life. I saw that same pain in AJ that I have carried for years. Watching AJ on the Ultrasound hit me too. I saw what I needed to do. And what AJ found the strength to do. AJ has that spark that I wish I had. And I'm still finding it. But I will continue to look up to AJ to find that spark**. Oh, Brian. What he has done for me...I have a freind with a serious heart condition. When she was born they discovered the she had 2 holes in her heart, but not only did she have that, but her blood ran from atrium to atrium and ventical to ventical. Before the age of 2 she had already had many surgerys. Each being that she may not come out of any of them. But now, nearly 20 years later she is standing strong. Just like Brian! :) Through both her and him I have learned that life is a glorious thing, and no matter the conciquence, it is still devine as long as you want it to be. I tip my hat to Brian. Howie D... Wow! What can I say? As we all know he lost his sister Caroline to Lupas a few years ago. The part of his story that gets me is that the day of her funeral he had to leave to go back touring. I can only think to myself, "What strength this man has to pick up and keep going so fast!" I know is wasn't hard. I've been there. I went through 3 years of hardship and it's taken me nearly 8 years to pick up and go. I have finally begun to see the light and find my path. Howie just knew what had to be done and he did it. I praise Howie for that strength and for have that strength to show the world. Last, but never-ever least, Nick. He's only a year older then me and I am amazed at his abilities. I know that I coule never be able to put that much focus into the music "Business " that he had put in at such a young age. I see what a respectable young man he has become and I smile. He allowed himself to be in the limelight and kept strong the whole time, never lookin back to see if he was doing the right thing. (We all know he has :) ) I have a great respect for him mostly because he is near my age. Now for the run down... I have earned a grave respect for these five men in just a year. Never would I have thought that I could connect with anyone whom I have never met. I see how they have grown in just a year and I see how they have proven themselves to be better then the lables (Boy Band--Teen Idols--etc...). All I think of when I hear the name, Backstreet Boys, "Success!!" Keep on keepin' on BSB!!! We love you and I thank each and every one of you from the bottem of my heart. I personally think that those 5 guys have THE most beautiful and wonderful voices IN THE WORLD. Their voices can just soothe me to no end, I could just sit and listen to them sing for hours. In fact, just hearing their voices, and knowing that they made it this far, they made their dreams come true has helped me so many times I cannot count them all. That's why I love them the most. Sure, I'm not gonna lie to you, all 5 of them are very hot guys, but I love their voices more. There are no words to say how much i love them! LOL I admire them for their strength and courage to pull through all the rough times they've had, like Kevin's dad dying, Brian's Heart Surgery, Howie's sister dying, Brian's and Kevin's grandfather dying. Most groups would have broken up over all these tragedies, but bsb was strong and held it together, and i truly admire them for it. They have put such an impact on my life..they were the first group i really really liked when i started listening to music. I liked them WAYYYYYY better than nsync because their sound and music is way more mature and plus they're wayyyyyy cuter and wayyyyy more mature than nsync is. They'll do anything for their fans, because they love us and we are the ones who made them who they are today! KTBSPA 4 ever!
