Why do you love the Backstreet Boys?

They seem to be fun ! I enjoyed all the videos I have up to this point and can not wait to see them in concert. I just enjoy them all around they would be fun to sit and chat with. I would love to be able to do that for a bit. Not to gush Not me . No I just would like to converse with them. I think it would be an interesting conversation !!! Of course I would be honored to meet there "special" women in their lives. I just like a good conversation and I would like to have that one with them some day LOL ! I love them for what they have taught me about myself. I have watched them about as close as any fan can and have learned much about love and life from them. They have helped me through a difficult time in my life when I lost my husband to cancer. When I thought that I didn't want to go on, I looked at Kevin and saw that he did go on after the loss of his father( same kind of cancer).He showed me that I had to follow my dreams and that someday I too would be able to love again. That day is not here but I know that I can go on with my life. They have showed me so much courage and strength. Their music has helped me get through the hard times and helped me learn to join in this life once again. They may never know just how much that they have helped me, one day I hope to dedicate my first novel to the Backstreet Boys, without them I know that I would never have been able to make it where I am today. But i have liked that Backstreet Boys for 4 years. Since i was 10.. I like them cause they Have amazing Voices, They know how to entain peole from hours, They are great people they are awesome personalties.. My Dream is to one day meet them and be able to also know them beside them being the Backstreet BOys. I would like to know them for them.. Well one day i am going to meet them even if they are not famous i want to meet them.. Well they boys are jsut FAblous and i love everything about all of them .. Date: Sat Jul 15 23:10:05 2000 I started liking BSB when I saw the "quit playing games" video, I saw AJ and I melted in my couch, I mean he is so fine, well I always liked them except I never said anything, cause nobody liked BSB in my school, so when "I want it that way" came out, I was always singing it and I fell in love with AJ and would only watch their video's to see him cause I though/think that he is sexy, so when I started liking BSb so did alot of people now at my school, they have to play BSB at dances or there will be a riot, even the guys like BSB, everyone except my Ex boyfriend who told me chose between him and AJ and AJ won!!!! I had this lump on me that was turning into cancer...It took the doctors 3 surgries..until it was all gone and I was all better...every time I went back to the hopital i'd bring Backstreet pic's to hang in my hospital room.. and after each surgery i'd try and say something about BSB so everyone would know that I really do love them..I was in so much pain the first 2..but when the 3rd came along I made myself say it..I woke up cringeing in pain..looked over at my mother and said "mom I want to see the backstreet boys".. she bawled and said "okay"..But they got me through those 3 months when I was going through everything.. They also gave me the courage to try out for our lead varstiy choir..Suprise supris I actually made it.. There was no way i'd do that unless I had someone to look up to like the BSBoys.. They've done a lot for me even if they don't know it and they'll always be a part of me and I love them for it. But the biggest way they have influenced me is with their passion for their music and life! I am a BIG music fan myself and have loved to sing for as long as I can remeber. I listen to all kinds of music!(not just BSB) But by them working so hard to achive their goals and being so succesful it has showed me that you can do whatever you want as long as you are commited to it and are ready to work hard for your dreams! And I thank them sooo much for that! The really deserve so much more respect than what they get! From watching all their tapes and things like that I really felt like this is for me. Now I want to persue a career in music as a personal manager or an A7R coordinator. One time, I was at a carnival. I was at one of those booths where you have to pick a number and if the wheel lands on your number you win. Well, just when I started to play, one of bsb's songs came on. I picked number six and said in my head, "backstreet boys, please let me win." And I ended up winning a beautiful plant for my mom.
