I think it's great news! It can only HELP the Backstreet Boys as group, anyway, since getting married isbreaking another stereotype for "boybands". As for anyone who came on here, said no one's REALLY happy about it
and/or that they were done with the group- let me tell you that going to 'NSync is the best thing that could
happen for my Boys. You teenybopper fans who love them for their looks are exactly what brought guys which such
TALENT bad press, and made the true fans look bad. The sooner you're gone, the better. And these days, for every
9-year-old they lose, they gain four 19-year-olds. So pack your bags, you little losers and get over to the 'NSync
camp where you can be the downfall of THEM!

Ok, girls work with me here, please. I know that most of you are really upset cause of Brian's and Kev´s marriage, I also know that some of you wanna kill their girlfriends and also some are planning how to interfere on the wedding. But, GROW UP! Think of all the things you are saying and all that you are thinking, does it sound correct? I don't think so. You say that you love them and blah blah blah... so, if you love them that much...let them be happy! They are mature enough to make their own decisions and they surely know if they are making the right or wrong choice... So, stop saying that Leighanne is using Brian cause that is not true, Brian is a smart guy, don't you think? He's being with her long enough to prove that she truly love him and that he love her too...she may look kinda phony and all...but that is not what count, the only thing that count is BRIAN´S HAPPINESS!!! If he is happy we surely have to be happy too, I think that sound pretty right, don't you think? About Kevin, well, I guess there is not much to say about him. I was dreaming about the day he could finally found "THE ONE", cause he always used looked so sad, you could saw that just by looking at his huge green eyes. He was hitted by life so much, and now God is blessing him with someone that will love him and take care of him, and I hope that Kristen will be able to change those sad eyes into shiny eyes full of happiness and joy.Most of the fans like me, that were supporting them since the beginning, saw Nick growing bigger and bigger, AJ´s style changes, Howie´s Spanish improving, and now Brian and Kevin becoming two happily married men. We are all really privilege to be part of their growing like that. We also saw how they changed musically speaking... You can notice that from the first album and now the last one. Now, they write their own songs and cooperate in everything related to their work, while on the first one, they only cooperated with their beautiful voices. They all grown in so many different and wonderful ways, that I just can't explain. They improved their voices beautifully, their live presentations are everyday more and more fantastic, they little by little made themselves being known all around the world and now you say Backstreet Boys anywhere you go and everyone knows of whom you are talking about, and last year they made their dream true, they were known in their own home country. Don't you think that we are part of their lives? Of course we are! We made them what they are now, and you guys have to feel proud for that, they always thank us for our continuous support and we have to keep doing that so that we will be able to continue watching them growing more and more every day. Please, don't stop loving them cause they are getting married, you guys should know that they would get married one day from before hand and it finally happened! Kevin and Brian apparently found their "Soul Mates", and some of you should know that finding "The One" is the most wonderful thing that can happen to each of us.
Instead of being angry at them, why don't you support them in their decision? I'm sure they are worried of what we all think. And if they told us about their engagement is cause they trust us and are waiting for our support.
Girls, is their music what we like, is their music what made us all know them, is their music what keep us close to them, is their music what make us smile or cry when we hear them, and was their music what made us love them since the first time we saw a video or listened to a song. So, keep listening to their music; keep listening to their voices together making a wonderful harmony...keep on with your support.
Don't be upset or sad about the marriage; instead of that be happy for them. They will still need us and we have to show them that we will still support them till the end of time.

I just wanted to express my happiness for Brian and Kevin on their impending marriages. I am happy they
have found stability and found somebody who will care
for them no matter what, just like alot of the fans
who support them. We haven't lost two Boys; we've
gained two members of our big Backstreet Family. If
some are feeling upset about what they feel should be
rightfully theirs, then I'm sorry. You have to
realize the Boys were never yours or anybody's to
belong with. They are no different than your parents
or your friends who have careers. The Boys simply
chose a different career path than most, but just
like everybody else they deserve happiness. I would
rather see them happy than lonely and living up to
demands to fulfill every female's fantasies. AJ has
said, Music First, Music Last, Music Always. I hope
you will take the time to realize the Boys are giving
you the opportunity to reevaluate why you love them,
and they are asking you now, instead of later,
because they have always been honest, and they've
always kept it real for us fans. I'd rather support
somebody who can take the time to do that, and need I
remind everybody of what they've done to maintain
their relationship with their fans? The ticket
scalping incident they've bust open, the ticket
prices they've tried to keep low and have without
hidden fees, the innumerable charitable efforts
they've done that MTV and other media never report,
the songs they've dedicated to us to express their
gratitude. They've been selfless in so many
respects, trying to make us happy. The least we coul
do as fans is try and understand, and make them
happy, too. Give them your blessing, wish them the
best, because years from now, whoever they are with,
it won't matter, because if you believe they will
last, then you will also be right there standing
beside them. So be happy. They're not going
anywhere.

I have a couple of comments to make.To those who have said that BSB should dump Brian and Kevin and continue without them, get this - without Kevin and Brian there is no Backstreet Boys. End of Story, you can't take them out of the group and you can't replace them, they are irreplacable! Kevin, Brian, Nick, AJ and Howie make up the Backstreet Boys you cannot take out any one of them and still have BSB.
To the people that think that we are lying to ourselves that we are happy about the engagements, you are wrong. We are truely happy for the Boys and wish them all the best in the world, we aren't denying anything. If they are happy we are happy.
And to Jenn, who said that Kevin should be dumped from the group, that he is bringing them down and he is a senior citizen, I want to freaking kick your little ass right now. How dare you call him a senior citizen, he is 28 years old, hardly a senior citizen. If you think this engagement announcement gives you the right to rip him apart and say nasty things about him, you are so wrong, he is still the sweet guy we knew a couple of days ago, that did not change, his sweet voice did not change. He is not a senior citizen he is a sweet guy in love.
That is the end of my ranting but some of you immature fans are getting on my nerves over this whole engagement thing, acting like it is the end of the damn world or something and it isn't. The Boys are still a group and we still have their music so things aren't over, they aren't over by a long shot.

Congratulations Kevin and Brian!I'm really psyched about all this. It seems like the best time in the world to be a Backstreet fan. They just put
out the best video they've done yet, they're nominated for four major grammys, they're performing at the grammys
next week, nick just got even cutER (who knew it was possible?!) with that new haircut, they're writing songs
for the new album, and kevin and brian proved their faith in the fans by telling them the truth about their engagments.
It feels like a door was just kicked wide open! Just when you think they can't get any better, they go and do it.
They go and get bettter. It seems like they've come far, but that they have even farther to go and they're getting
more respect now and they're getting more mature fans.
I really don't understand how anyone can say this is the end of the group. It will send them into the stratosphere,
in a good way! Rock on Boys! I'm a fan forever. :-)

I'm happy for Brian and Kevin, they are getting married to a person very special to them. Personally, I think it's about time for Kevin to get married, I mean, he's almost 30. It's no big deal that they are getting married, they have lives too. Millions of people get engaged as we speak and no one is going crazy that they are getting married. Why should there be all this comotion about these two men who want to marry someone who is very special to them? Just because they are famous doen't mean that they have to live a sheltered life. Brian and Kevin are people too and need to be respected for their own desisions. I wish them the very best and hope that they'll be happy.

Aww I'm so excited for them! I'm so happy they finally found happiness. I wish them both all the luck in the world! When i first found out i was sorta upset but now that i think about it i'm sooo excited! I mean if Leighanne can say -- "I didn't know men with hearts of gold still existed, but I was proven wrong when I walked onto the set of 'As Long As You Love Me.' Everyday since then has been a blessing. He is the love of my life." -- about Brian then there so meant to be together. And if Brian can come out and say --"Once you get to a certain level you wake up and realize that it's not about making everyone else around you happy, because all the success in the world isn't worth not having a best friend or someone to share it with, someone that will treat you the same no matter what."-- about Leighanne it's so obvious they're in love and so deserve to be together. Hi. To anyone that can answer this for me.. I am also in charge of a web page.. and I was wondering if anyone had any pics of Kevin and his fiancee or of his fiancee or both. Also.. What is her name. Thank you very much. Also this will NEVER change my perspective of the guys.. I am sooooooo happy for them and I wish them so much luck towards the future. I actually wanted Brian and Leigh Ann to get married, their relationship is so cute!! Also I think this will make them stronger as a group because you the fans most likely will support them so they will grow even moreso within themselves!! Well, at first i was really mad and depressed because we all want to be with them and I thought that they were going to leave the group, but they're really maturte to know that their private life shuoldn't intefere with their professional life; but then i realized that they are truly happy and it's what they want so we should be really happy for them. Besides we don't make the decisions for them, they're old enough to make them and if it's a mistake then they'll learn from it. I wish them the best luck and to Leighanne and Kristin congratulations because they're taking the most beautiful guys on earth (inside and outside). For all you so clled FANS who object to this whole marriage thing get a life. They are people too and we all knew it was bound to happen one day or another. I am so happy that they have found someone that they can love and trust and not have to worry if they're in it for the fame and money. To KAITLYN:I just wanted to write this cuz I thought it was kinda funny how everyone was ripping on you! You kinda deserve it though...how could you NOT be happy for them? Kevin is 28, and it's about time he's getting married anyways. I think you need to think about what you type before you write something gay like that and have all BSB fans around the world read that. Personally, I'm happy for both of them...it's not like I was going to meet either one of them, let alone get with them or marry them.

I would just like to say that I am very happy for them. I adore Leighanne (Brian's soon to be) and I dont know Kevins but he is a very intellegent man so I am guessing she is talented and beautiful too. They are not my number one favorites of the 5 BSB members (mine is AJ) but if AJ ever got engaged I would probably end up in an insane asylum so I feel for you girls out there who are totally obsessed over these two hot guys. I would just like to tell you that it is going to be ok and that you just have to think that they are happy and as long as they are happy you are happy. I would just like to say congradulations from the bottom of my heart to Brian and Kevin!!!!:-)
