It is ridiculous if fans stop liking them just because they're going to have wifes. They've had girlfriends all along, people just didn't know it, they're still the same people singing the same music regardless. There comes a time when you have to move on in life. I know its disapointing to fans but what can you do about it. Did you honestly think you were gonna be the one to marry brian or kevin. They're still making the music and still act and look the same so it shouldn't matter if they're getting married. I am very very happy for both of them and wish them the best! I'll still be the same exact fan i was before i heard the news because the Backstreet Boys are amazing singers, dancers, and performers, and thats what i love them for! Brian has always wanted a daughter and we all know that Kevin loves children. I don't care if they get married, but what worries me is BSB, the group. What if the married life means no more time for being a Backstreet Boy and eventually a break-up? I know I could be jumping to conclusions, but don't you think the guys would wanna spend time with there wives? I'm not selfish, because many fans would miss the Backstreet Boys and be sadened by the void the group would leave. Just imagin a life without BSB. I know Kevin can't be a Backstreet Boy forever and that people his age are already settled down, but I can only hope that this doesn't cause the group to break up and go their seperate ways. Brian, I knew would probably get married ,or engaged anyway this year at any time. I'm so happy that they're gonna be with the people that make them happy the rest of their lives. They deserve it after all the hard work they have done for the fans. If any one of their fans is jealous or think it's stupid for them not getting married to you, do you think that they're really gonna listen to almost all of you complain about it? Yet in the middle of it all, they toured and put on thousands of great shows and continued to work on Millennium and sign millions of autographs no matter how tired they were. Now in 2000 Brian and Kevin get engaged, and people who claim to be fans call them rude and selfish and thoughtless? This is not a joke, call me, bye..." I started to bawl like a baby. I cried the whole night and was VERY depressed. Since then (it was a couple weeks ago) I have calmed down, and am quite happy to hear that not only Brian (my baby squirrel) but his cousin (the grinning bob cat) Kevin is also engaged! I feel so overcome with emotions , but besides the sad feeling in the pit of my stomach...I'm so proud of Brian! He's gonna get married! Even though it's not to whom I would like him to marry, he loves her and they make a good couple (though she is a lil old for him...). However, Kevin and Kristin are perfect together. Besides the rough times they've had, he did find a way back to her heart...and look at where it's got him now! Because I live near Lexington, I wish I could go and visit his parents and tell them how happy I am (and maybe drop off a wedding gift or two...) for their son! Yes, I love the Backstreet Boys, each one of them the same. I think that it is their own choice wether or not they want to get married. To me, all that matters is that if they are happy.
