Ok about the news of Kevin and Brian getting married...it doesn't really bother me! If it makes them happy then I think that they should go ahead and take the plunge! Do I think it will hurt the group...YES!! The majority of the BSB fan base comes from teenage girls like myself who have pics of them covering there room..who sit at home dreaming about marrying them theirselves! My prediction...not long after they both get married the group will break up..it doesn't really bother me I will always be a huge fan of them..but they have to do what they have to do to make theirselves happy and get on with the rest of their lives...I might have a diferent opinion is say NICK were getting married but hey can you blame me??

Ok people, CHILL! First of all, I'd like to know how old all these girls are who are mad about Brian & Kev getting married because they "wanted" them. 11, 12? Yes, not far from my age (13). But I NEVER EVER thought I would marry a Backstreet Boy. Don't you think that would be quite awkward? I love Brian with all my heart. He has amazing talent, and a great sense of humor. Not to mention, he ain't that bad in the looks department. (LOL) BUT, he's 25 (as of Feb. 20th, yesterday), which is 12 years older than me. 12 YEARS! That's almost twice my own age. I don't want someone that is so much older than me, no matter how much I like him. I mean, I can see how some girls just fantasize about kissing them or something, but marrying them...REALITY CHECK. When I am 25, Bri will be in his late 30s. You people need to get over it. Remember, there's always that cutie in your Science class who might just like you too. And he's YOUR age! Someone available for dating. Most these girls who want to marry a BSB haven't met them, nor have the slightest idea what they are like away from being "The Backstreet Boys." I am extremely happy for the 2 men of the group I adore...besides, they are Kentucky's Finest!!! So, Bri & Kev, if you're reading this (haha yeah right), I just want to tell you Congrats and I hope you both have wonderful, happy lives.

Well my interest in BSB has subsided quite a bit, however, I remember when I heard the news I was ecstatic. I heard about Brian and Leighanne first and I remember smiling, well, a lot. It also got me off my butt and to redo my Leighanne fansite (which was the 4th on the Net)[ http://leighanne.cjb.net ] 2 years ago, this would have crushed me. However, I think over the last few yers, BSB fans have matured and come to accept the girlfriends of BSB members. There will of course be the occasional "No he's mine!" fans but for their sake, I hope they get over it. This happens to every band -- let's just hope that Brian and Kevin can keep their careers and marriages seperate so that it doesn't ruin the marriage or the band. Having a marriage in show-business is extremely tough and for their sakes I hope they can pull it off.

Brian is my favorite Backstreet Boy. Notice the present tense. Nothing about their personel lives can change that. Why do people care about what they do when they step of the stage or behind the camera. They are real people with real lives. No offense to anybody out there, but did you really expect them to meet some fourteen year-old fan and fall madly in love with them? Please, give me a break. They need to be able to have real lives. To all the people who come on the net and bad mouth the people that the Backstreet Boys really care about, how happy do you think they will be if they find out what you are saying. In the long run the thing that might cause the group to break up won't be their girlfriends/fiances/wives, but the lack of respect and privacy their personal lives get. I'm glad the guys came out and told the public, becuase it shows that they know their real fans, meaning the ones that like their music, will support them all the way. On Wednesday the twenty-third I will be watching the Grammys and rooting for the boys a hundred percent, and so will all their mature devoted fans. Congrats to Brian and Kevin, their future wives, and AJ, Nick, and Howie for all their future happiness.

There's something I forgot to say. Just because they are getting married, doesn't mean that BSB is gonna change. They're just trying to be happy, the same way, everybody is trying to search for their happiness. I'm really happy that they found someone to love. I wish I could find my special someone. I give their girlfriends props for sticking by them, when is so hard to mantain a relationship with a famous figure, because of the lack of quality time, and crazy fans out there. So if you are a real fan, you will be happy that they are happy, and keep on being a fan of their music, not their cute faces. Remember the second commandment: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth."

Ok, girls work with me here, please. I know that most of you are really upset cause of Brian's and Kev´s marriage, I also know that some of you wanna kill their girlfriends and also some are planning how to interfere on the wedding. But, GROW UP! Think of all the things you are saying and all that you are thinking, does it sound correct? I don't think so. You say that you love them and blah blah blah... so, if you love them that much...let them be happy! They are mature enough to make their own decisions and they surely know if they are making the right or wrong choice... So, stop saying that Leighanne is using Brian cause that is not true, Brian is a smart guy, don't you think? He's being with her long enough to prove that she truly love him and that he love her too...she may look kinda phony and all...but that is not what count, the only thing that count is BRIAN´S HAPPINESS!!! If he is happy we surely have to be happy too, I think that sound pretty right, don't you think? About Kevin, well, I guess there is not much to say about him. I was dreaming about the day he could finally found "THE ONE", cause he always used looked so sad, you could saw that just by looking at his huge green eyes. He was hitted by life so much, and now God is blessing him with someone that will love him and take care of him, and I hope that Kristen will be able to change those sad eyes into shiny eyes full of happiness and joy.

I feel happy for Kevin because, I mean, let's face it, they've been together for 7 years, and he is ready for everything. He has lived enough to know what he wants, and he loves her. Best wishes for Kevin and his future wife. As for Brian, well, I mean, I'm happy that he's happy, but I think is too fast for him to take such a commitment. To me, marriage in God's name is forever, and I don't think that Brian is ready for such a big commitment. But then again, I'm not him, and I don't know what he's going through, so if he thinks that he is ready for marriage, then he should go right ahead. Don't get me wrong, Leighanne is a really beautiful person inside and out. But I just wouldn't like that marriage to end. I think that they should be together for a longer time, and then decide if they're ready for marriage. But that's not up to me, so, Congratulations to both Kevin and Brian, as well as their girlfriends. May God grant them all the love and happiness they deserve. One Love!

any of you who felt sad when you heard it are psychos! i can see having a little fantasy, but did you ACTUALLY think that you were going to marry them??!?!?! for the sake of the future, i sure hope not.

I'm very happy for Brian and Kevin. I just hope that their future wives will treat them right ( the way they deserve to be treated). And for those so called "fans" out there who are considering to switch over to N'Stink just because of the engagements, well you guys need to know that it's really stupid to do that and you'll only be hurting them. They're only trying to be happy. You swear you had a chance! Besides, BSB is the best there is, the best there was, and the best that there ever will be. And the REAL fans will always love them no matter what. Even if all five of them get married. So we need to keep the Backstreet Pride alive and keep voting on TRL! BSB 4-eva!

I was sad at first because i love brian but now i am happy for both of them. They really loved their girlfriends and all those people who are saying i think its stupid then you need to get a life, its their choice not yours. And no matter what i will still love them married or not married.

You know, it's only normal to get married. I mean, Kevin is my favortie backstreet boy, but I think it's sweet he's getting married.
Submitted by Lisa from Houston USA
Okay, here is my thoughts on the subject. I say that I love Brian, but what fan doesn't. I thought he was THE ONE for me. So, at first I was crushed when I heard of the engagement. At first. Then, I realized something. He's happy. Loving someone, famous or not, means you want them happy no matter what. Sure, it hurts me, but it is a great, great thing form him and I can't be selfish and think of my feelings. Loving someone also means letting go. Continuing to support Brian and Kevin shows the ultimate letting go. All these fans that are mad at the guys should be mad at themselves and really don't love these guys. A crush is called a crush because usually that person UNINTENTIONALLY breaks your heart and you are crushed. We should all be happy for them because if they are getting married, then those girls must have something that maybe we, as the fans, have overlooked because of jealousy. Just some thoughts.
