I got an e-mail from someone, I think it was referring to one of my posts in here. And all it said was...Leighanne is a b!tch, and you are a wh0re. (REMEMBER...THOSE AREN'T MY WORDS!!!) Well, I actually started laughing!! I just told her that if Brian ever met her he wouldn't like her. It's interesting, cuz it's something like this (B&K getting engaged) that seperates the true fans, from well...the not-so-true so-called 'fans'. (If that makes any sense!) I am completely supporting Brian & Leighanne and Kev & Kristin in their marriages, and I get yelled at!! How would you (any of you 'fans' that are dissing Leighanne) like it if you were going out with someone, and you were completley in love with them, and you found out all your 'friends' were saying all sorts of bad stuff about your b/f?? You'd feel crushed! And betrayed by these 'friends'. B&K KNOW there are lots of fans who are saying bad stuff about their fiancees, and that makes me sad. Cuz I'm sure they feel betrayed by these 'fans'. I hope they do know that most of us are supporting them 100% though!! People don't realize that when they are saying bad stuff about Leighanne....they are acutally insulting Brian as well!! My question to you is why? Give me one good reason beyond how you perceive her. If I've learned anything in life it's that perception isn't always right. In fact most of the time it's way off base. I mean come on. There was a girl blaming Leighanne because Brian missed a note in a concert. Give me a break! As for Brian not being as hyperactive as he once was......instead of blaming it on Leigh why don't we all think back to his heart surgery. That is what has had a profound effect on his life. That coupled with the fact that he has matured more than explains his change in attitude. Those attacking Leighanne for her looks are just petty. So the woman is blonde and has a great body. Lets all just hate her because of that. Sure that makes alot of sense kids. No one is saying she's perfect. Nobody is but she's who Brian loves and who he's chosen. I think we all at least owe him our respect for his decision. If you actually think that she's using him and he just can't see it but you of course can then you're insulting Brian far more than you're insulting Leighanne. You're saying that he's a horrible judge of character and that he has no ability to see people for who they are. Think about that. When I first heard of their engagement, which I was sick at home, I jumped for joy- litterally. I was crying as well, because I am very, very happy for the both of them. I've met them loads of times and seen them live in concert lots too. They are absolutely great performers on stage and they have amazing voices and make ace music!! I love them to bits!! As i've met them, you realise they are just human beings. When you meet them though, they do cheer you up-messing and joking around!! Cuz Brian and Kevin are getting married, my admiration and love for these guys won't change. As long as they carry on making great music and performing as the Backstreet Boys live on stage, I will always be their fan. People that are sending them hate mail, CANNOT call themselves fans!
