I mean I am a little sad about it but they do have lives outside of BSB. I don't think it will hurt bsb if they get married. I like them the same way, as I did before. Actually I think I love them even more now! I can't wait until they get married, and have kids. I see it this way: as long as they are happy; I'm happy! If you say you love the backstreet boys, then you love them for what they do as well, and you should respect their descisions! I've been a fan, since back in 1995, and I started liking them for their music. When I heard their first single "We've got it goin' on" in '95, I didn't even know what they looked like. I've met Amanda, and she's just SO nice!!! I've met the Backstreet Boys as well, and they are the nicest and sweetest guys on earth!!! I can't see how fans can be upset with them for being engaged? I mean, you should ALL be happy for them. Because you know deep within that you will never get them, as yours... I don't declare myself as "mrs Carter" or "mrs Dorough". Even though I don't agree with Brian's engagment dosen't mean that I'm not a true BSB fan! I'm really happy for Kevin and Kristin, because they really seem to be in love, but there is just something about the fact that Brian is actually going to marry Leighanne that bothers me ! If he was marrying somebody else instead of Leighanne I would be very happy for him! It's defintaly not because I 'm one of those fans that actually thought that he was going to marry me, but there is just something that bothers me about Leighanne and I'm not the only one who feels that way ! It shows that the boys are happy and are planning personal futures for themselves. We need to understand that someday probably all of the boys will want to be married and have children. No, it does not mean the end of the group, not at all. Getting married is probably a big and scary step for them, and I'm sure they would be thrilled if they had the fans' approval. We need to understand that the boys are not making 'a huge mistake,' but just trying to marry the women that they love. If we were true fans, we would be happy for the boys. It doesn't matter what we think about their fiances, the boys know them far better than we do. I think we all need to be supportive and trust Kevin and Brian's decisions.
