Brian- It's about his heart surgery and all the fear surrounding him. Kevin- It's about his father dying of cancer and his memories as a child. At the end when they all join together and walk towards a bright light and I think that symbolizes how they all suffer from loneliness, but together they can overcome their loneliness. Did anyone else notice that the bus that AJ got off of said Dennis St? I have an interpretation of Howie's part in the video. When the girl comes running towards him then fades away, it symbolizes all the millions of girls that throw themselves at him everyday. None of these people last though, they always disapear the next night. But in the background is a fuzzy image of Kevin, that symbolizes that Howie really wants him, but all these girls just keep getting in the way!! Shoelace from Grand Prairie Texas USA Date: Thu Feb 17 16:45:45 2000 I saw the vid for the first time on Tuesday...before I saw it, I had seen a lot of talk about Nick's gay hat and some scene where his girlfriend goes squish-o. A lot of people were saying that this is the worst BSB video ever. Well, I'm not going to go THAT far! "I'll Never Break Your Heart" (the American version) will ALWAYS hold the title of worst BSB video ever. Dang, that one was awful. But anyways... Nick didn't look that bad. Granted...his hat WAS a little weird (it probably should have been worn backwards and not sideways) but the video did have some meaning in it. I thought the whole "Denniz St." sign on the bus was incredibly corny. And is it me or was that the same chick throughout the entire video? It looked like the same girl, just in different makeup each time. And with the whole Nick/bus crushing/ pulling for a kiss scene-- Okay, that was WAY too violent for Nick to be pulling her for a kiss! (Maybe Mandy's blood really did seep into him.) I think what happened is that Nick saw the bus and wanted her out of the way. They should have just run her over though. That would have been funny. Anyways...I absolutely love it at the end when they're all walking through the backstreet together. It brings new meaning to the "Backstreet" Boys. :-) Good video. Overall, I'd give it a 6. It was good...but kind of corny and cryptic. The sign on the bus says Denniz street because Denniz Pop died. Brian is watching his trajic heart surgery. Kevin is watching an old home video of him and his late dad. Howie thinks the girl running up to him is his late sister but he's just imagining things. AJ is crying because of his break up with an old love Marissa Jackson and Nick is sad because of his break up with Mandy Willaford! The video is awesome! Vote on TRL!
