But I'm here to vent, not to comment on the vid. The BSb is the most conceited, hypocritical group of 5 guys ever. They sit there and moan, " POOR US" because they say everyone copies what they are doing. Meanwhile they go around and take the Flying from *NSYNC's concert tour and use it, AND also go on the Mtv Music Awards and sing the song *NSYNC sung a long time ago that made me fall in love with them. I'm not saying they shouldn't use other people's music and ideas, im just saying they should stop whining about it because if they are doing the same thing, they have absolutely no room to talk. You guys need to get off of your high horses and learn some respect for other artists. I think it is pretty clear that Brian dies in the beginning of the video. It shows the heart monitor flatlining and doctors and nurses running in to save him. He had to have died or why would the nurse have pulled the oxygen mask off his face. Then it shows Brian walking through some double doors and he looks up. He is very pale and a bright light floods his face. AJ is either about his ex girlfriend or his friend that died when he was 13. Kevin is about his dad and Howie, his sister. Nick? I'm still wondering about that one. And what about when Kevin gets off the elevator and turns to see a girl shaking a guy that, obviously upset. Is that Brian and she is upset with him for dying? First of all Brian is showing the pain of his recent heart surgery. He sees himself in the hospital having heart problems. Kevin is mourning the death of his father (or grandfather). The girl who runs to Howie and then dissapears is his sister who recently died. AJ is on a bus that says Denniz on it, (Deniz Pop died and they are the whole video is dedicated to him) I don't know what Nick's story is though. Then they go into this crazy place and that's the end. I love them so much!! Kevin's part is basically self explanatory. His father died, and he is reminicsing about the times that they used to be together. Enough said. Brian's part is also pretty obvious. It's about his heart surgery and getting through and how rough it was for him. AJ's part is a little more complicated. You probably all know that he had a twin sister who died at birth. In my opinion, the girl who walks by him on the bus is his image of what his sister would look like if she was alive. He's also sad because he never knew her and is hoping that its really her. Howie I don't think I have completley figured out yet, but I would think that it was his sister or an image of what he wants to us fans to percieve her to look like. After all, she does run by him and sort of fade away and it would make sense, since that his major loss was his sister. Nick's is also complicated, I guess you just have to have an imagination. I think that in the video, Nick is the savior or "angel" who has helped the boys get through their hardships and losses. He saves the girl who almost runs in front of the bus, a symbol of rescue. His complexion, the way he walks, and the clothes he is wearing also reflects the angel about him. Overall, the song is also dedicated to Denniz Pop, and the name Denniz is enscribed on the top of the bus that AJ is riding on. The black and white affect is to show sadness, pain and loss. And the color that they walk through at the end, shows them walking through the hard times and the past, and looking forward to good times, remembering and the future. Personally, I think that this video is the best one that the BsB has done, just because of how dramatic and sad it is. It really shows a different side to the boys and I think that lots of critics out there are realizing how great these guys really are. Submitted by Kara from Kanata ont. Especially for my little boy, since I am a single mother now. The song gave me alot of hope and strength. So I would like to thank A.J., Brian, Howie, Nick, and Kevin for singing a song like SMTMOBL.
