First Page - Previous - Next - Last - Add Entry - Other Topics - Message Boards - Exit Page 45 of 50 Submitted by holly from sudbury ontario canada Date: Mon Jan 10 19:45:05 2000 OK ive seen the video thousands of times and only when me and my friend were arguing over the video did i come up with this meaning to the video.Ok the video starts brian is looking at himself in the hospital bed and a part of him has died (the part of him being sick when he was a little boy and when he had his surgery)Then its aj hes looking at a picture of a girl and is crying so i think his part is about him breaking up with his 6 year girlfriend (and the part of his girlfriend dies)Then its kevin hes singing for his dad plain and simple the part of hi dad dies.Then its nick i couldnt figure out what the heck his part was but then i listen the song says"beauty roads to an endless love theres no control are you with me now your every wish will be done"hes walking down a road (beauty roads) then sees a gril that almost gets hit with the bus that ajs on and saves her (the road led him to an endless love)(and the part of him being lonely dies)NOTE:if you havent notice look on the top of the bus just before aj gets of it says denniz street how sweet.Anywase then its howie and hes singing about his sister (and that part of him dies)and when kevin looks at howie and nodds hes telling him its time to go and then they all walk together to heaven(thats when there walking in the dessert) and the main girl you know the really pail one that you see alot i say shes an angel telling them to move on and its time to go home. well if you have any comments you can write me and tell me and visite my website at www.angelfire.com/ak3/fanfiction Submitted by Monique from Nanaimo BC Canada Date: Mon Jan 10 19:35:05 2000 First of all, I'd like to say that the Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely is one of the bests videos by BSB. It shows a little bit more edge, and more depth to it. It's great! Brian: Like everyone else said, he was thinking of his heart surgery. Nick: I wasn't really sure what he was but, this is my theory: Nick was a lonely guy walking down the street, and he saved this girl from the loneliness he feels. Or, by saving the girl from hitting the bus, he prevented the people who knows the girl personally from feeling loneliness. I don't know, does it even make any sense? It sounded much better in my head! Kevin: Of course, he was thinking about his dad! And how he went through growing up without a father. AJ: Break-ups from his past girlfriends, obviously. Howie: He was thinking of his sister's death. I like the way how Kevin was in the same bar with him, and from the look on his face, he knew exactly what Howie was going through. Denniz St. Bus: Dedicated to Denniz Pop, of course! And at the end, when they all come together and walked down the road, I guess that represents that they're not alone. And that everyone else who's going through the same thing doesn't have to be alone either. They could turn in to their friends, family or experts for help. I think this was the ultimate test, that the Backstreet Boys would go through all the pain and sorrow in the whole world, to produce a piece of work this genuine, and unique, and beautiful all around. It made me think about all the times I got mad because I didnt get tickets, and why weren't they on TRL in person when their new video premired, but this also showed that they are only human, and they have to go through everything just like you and I. Ive seen it alot because i taped it and everytime i started crying.I think its one of their best videos but why does it have to be SO sad? I mean I felt like i could feel all of their emotions and the pain they were going threw. I think i sort of know what each story means... Brian was the tragic yet succesful heart surgery. A.J is when he lost his girlfriend in a car accident at the age of 14. Kevin, the death of his long lost father. I'm not really sure about Nick but i think he was just saving her from getting hit by the bus. I hear all these other stories but Im not sure besides its the only logical explaination and Howie, the death of his older sister. Also towards the end of the video it shows all 5 of elements that they each represent for example Kevin is steel and when the girl in the video is looking up at the sky, she's standing on a steel platform. The new bsb video "Show me the meaning of being lonely" has to be the best video i have EVER seen! they showed there feelings so well in there video! i could almost feel each ones heartache. Brian All i can say for his part is that must of taken some courage! when i saw him laying in that hospital bed i screamed i don't know why but that just surpised me i was not expecting to see him there. He looks really good in black and white! And when he walked out of the hospital doors and sang he looked really really really good!
