Okay well the first time i saw the video i knew there was soo much symbolism in it..well my friend kim and i were talkinh bout it and we kinda came up with som estuff together...first obviously brian with his heart surgery and not really sure if he was gonna make it and then kevin with his dad and the home video footage must've bben so har dfor him....then there's howie and his sister lossing her and kevin in the background nodding kinda like "i know how you feel and i'm here for you" and then there's nick and A.j's parts which r the hardest..a lot of people don't know this but A.j lost a girl friend a while back in a car accident and the girl a.j saw in the video was the same girl nick saved from being hit by the bus..the same bus A.j was on!!now if that's not symbolism i don't know what is!!so that's what i think..but a lot of people missed talking about the most important thing i think and that's the part with Denniz street on the bus and the street name!!!that's what really got me for dennis pop and that he wrote the song just before he died and stuff:( and then when they all come together at the end it's like we'll alway sbe together no matter what happens who we lose we'll stand together into the light the new year will be better not like the last!!and that's what i think..if ya wanna email me about anything go ahead....

hi to all the bsb fans and anti nsync, i loved the video

somuch that i brokeout my kleenex before it premiered and

cried at everything. It's soul meaning is that they've lost someone and they wanted to know and understand why they couldn't follow them. For Brian, he leaves his past experiences and looks forward to the future. Nick, was so hurt from almost losing true-love that he saved her thinking only of her, he'd do what it took so i give him props for that. Aj, i cried quite hard, seeing him strongly trying to leave what's happened behind was so he'll never forget her and instead forever cherish their memories as well as for Denniz, that was so touching for them to have tributed the meaning especially to him. Howie was great, I

think that though he's been through the loss and for the rest they've achieved a balanced relationship and are where

they wanna be. For Kevin, i give him props for holding his tears from the emotional video and his verse really adds the impact when you watch it. Over all I love the video,

love the guys and i think, no, believe they deserve all of

our love and support. We brought them to where they are and will

remain number1 in my heart forever.

peace and love, edna

This has taken the Backstreet Boys to a new level. The video was perfectly done to capture the essence of this song. I was a little apprehensive about it after the first two videos for IWITW and LTL. Not to say I did not like those (believe me I did), but they really didn't go hand and hand with the songs.

SMTMOBL is such a deep and heart felt song. As it does I'm sure to the "Boys", it has a special place in my heart. Recently just losing a high school classmate at the age of 20 to an unexpected fatal accident, it is an accurate description of emotions that friends and family around me, and myself have had to deal with over the past month. And how more appropriate could it be then the fact that this video was premiered on New Year's Eve--what was to be his 21st birthday. Unfortunately, his twin brother had to celebrate their birthday alone for the first time.

Watching the 5 separate scenarios unfold throughout the video, paralleled the numerous situations that people I know are going through right now. All separate in their grieving during the song, the "Boys" end the video together, walking away. That made me so happy, because it shows that to get through times like these, you have to come together. Which is what people around me have done in this horrible situation.

Even though I am sitting here crying right now, and can not listen to the song or watch the video with a dry eye, this is one of the most comforting songs I have ever heard. It has shown me that every time I hear this song, I will think of my friend. Not only in my head, but most of all in my heart. (I realize the line says, "You are missing in my heart," but I believe that love endures all.) And as long as he is in my heart, I know that he is not completely gone.

I know this is not going to them directly, but I just want to say thank you to the Backstreet Boys. They have created something really special here. And whether or not the rest of the world sees it, I just want them to know that I do.

I think that the video is the best video that they've come out with! I love the way they incorporated important events that have happened in their lives that have made them who they are. I think it shows maturity and a sense of sophistication when you can tell your life stories in only three minutes. To do that alone is a feat in itself, but they also showed they are humans with tragedies of their own. They did it in a very elequent and heartfelt way. I loved the way they incorporated the death of their beloved producer and friend Deniz Pop as well. Vote for it on TRL to make it #1 and KTBPA!!!

I loved the video due to the fact that it had a special meaning behind it and it really touched my heart. I remember having tears strolling down my face within the first 5 seconds. It made a lot of sense to me, and I could totally relate. It actually, at this time, helped me cope with a recent loss. So for changing my views and way of life, I totally think it deserves an A++! It was the best video I've seen so far.

I love the new video! I think it is their best yet. It is a really mature video. Each of their stories are really good. I especially like Kevin's story. When I first saw it I got so sad. :( I love all the camera angles and lighting. Well done guys! Ü

i think its such a nice video. i really liked that they each put in something personal in it, even thought i dont understand what Aj and Nick are supposed to be doing. I think that they guys look really good and was pleased that they did something different by not having any dancing, like in their other videos. I really enjoy the dancing, but i liked that they did something different for a change.

anyways, the video is really great and i hope that their next video is Dont want to loose you now coz i really love that song! cant wait to go to their concert!!!! CYA :)

I can describe this video in one word. That word is

LOSS

I know it is not a fancy word but that is what the video makes me think about, I mean there is the LOSS of Kevin's dad, the LOSS of Howie's sister. That is what the video means to me and if you disagree then fine, disagree with me, It's just what I think.

I think the video is very powerful. It goes into each members own meaning of pain (being lonely). Things in their lives that effected them and shows that they're normal people too. Brians heart surgery, It was probablly scary for him.

Aj lost someone very close to him. He saw her on the bus, but it was his imagination. He missed her a lot.

Kevin is watching a video of himself playing football with his dad before he died. He misses his dad and would give anything to have him back.

Howie, I thought that was his sister, Caroline. Just before she get's to him to talk to him or hug him, she's gone. He can never have that bond again.

Nick saves a girl from being hit by a bus. I don't know what the story could be behind that.

This is my favorite video of theirs.
