Well, it's all about Brian's Heart Surgery, AJ and his girlfriend breaking up, Kevin's dad passed-out with Canceror something, I don't really know what Nick's is and Howie's either. But, Howie looked a little sad in that video and
Nick was very kind when he rescued that girl.
That video is da bomb! I love it, we can't stop watching it!

Well i think Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely is all about:Brian: Having heart surgery! (obv)
Nick: I think its something to do with saving that girl's life, cuz he pulls her from the front of that bus.
Kevin: His dad dying :o(
AJ: Denniz Pop
Howie: His sister who died :o(
I think its such a amazing video and anyone who doesnt cry at it, mustn't have a heart because that his such a moving video!! WELL DONE BSB! Lets get this one to Number One!!!

I think "Show Me The Meaning..." means probably what everyone else thinks. Brian: Duh his heart surgery. I think this was also displaying the biggest fear of the guys during that time.
AJ:I didn't really get this one but it may have had something to do with his and Amanda's break-up. But that's why I don't get it b/c I thought they were back together. Oh well. It could have something to do with his dad not being there with him during childhood...I dunno...
Kevin: Another obvious one. His dad. What else can you say?
Nick: And another that I didn't quite get but it may have had something to do with Mandy/Mandi. Since I'm not sure on that one I'm stopping right there.
Howie: The last obvious one and I just detected a pattern. Caroline of course...but I don't get the girl running to him.
OKay yes I caught the "Denniz St." on the top of the bus. I think we all know what that one means.
And the last part, walking out of the dark, colorless, streets into a colorful, bright, world. I think that means that even though hard times come, you will make it and life will go on. Memories both good and bad will still be there but at least there will a bright furture.
OKay enough with the interpertation. Time to tell what I thought of the video. Well it's the only video I cry over everytime I see it. When I watched the world premiere, I started crying at the first scene. Seeing Brian in that hospital looking at himself lying dead is something that I can't take. Like I said the biggest fear at the time. Just to think that that actually could have happened and Brian may not be here right now is very scary and I thank God that He allowed our B-Rok to live. OKay I'm crying over this and AJ's scene comes on. Seeing AJ, of all people, cry is something else I can't take. So here come more tears. Chorus. Okay I've pretty much stopped by now. Here comes Kevin and his home movies. Then Nick. ..."guilty roads to an endless love, there's no control are you with me now?" Okay stop right there! Dang it! Why oh why did they have to have Jerald Sr. in the background when Kev sang that part? I know I know to make you cry. Well it worked. And for the rest of the video I cried my eyes out. And I still do. Anyone feel the same? Well after all this I can say Kevin was right. This is a "deep little video".

I thought the video was one of the best the group have done yet. The song itself hits an emotional core and I think the guys put a lot of effort and thought into this video and it shows.I applaude them for showing some of their vulnerability. Personally, I was extremely touched by Kevin's scene. I can relate to it having lost my mum 6yrs ago.
The overall video is tasteful and classy, and I think it is an excellent product. The visuals complement the audio mood perfectly, and they allow almost a reminder that the guys truly are human, they aren't perfect and their lives aren't perfect.
Fabulous Job guys, and thank you for reaching so many people on many different levels!

I think that the SMTMOBL is sooo great... I think it has a lot of meanings but some of them in my opinion are:Kevin - watching home made videos of his dad which passed away a couple of years ago.
Aj - i think it has something to do with his ex. or maybe Denniz Pop.. cause on the bus that he's coming down from has a sign
on top thhat says: Denniz something...
Brian - well that's pretty obvious: his surgery and almost meeting god.
Howie - I think it has something to do with his sister which passed away.
Nick - I have noooooooo idia what happened to him.
Basically - the video is GORGIOUS and the guys are too!!!
way to go Backstreet's!!!

I just saw the video on the internet from bboys.com because I dont have cable and it was definetly worth downloading. Even though it took about an hour to download, here's my opinion on it. At the beginning it was very..whats the word..emotional? I was easy to tell that Brian and our lonliness would've been losing him because of his heart problem ('So many words for the broken heart..'). That was pretty simple. The next part is kind of hard to see but I got it. I was reading around and people were saying AJ's lonliness was him losing/not dating his girlfriend (Was it Amanda?). That was supposedly her walking down the aisle and fading..I LOVED that fading part! Excellent computer technique! Moving on..It was really sad to see AJ cry and then the girl slowly fading is all I gotta say about this part. Next is Kevin's lonliness. This one is by far the saddest one. That is real footage he is looking at of his father and him. My favorite part of this was when the had Kevin and beside his face on the screen was his dad. Nick's part is really hard to figure out. I think he was losing his girlfriend. In the beginning after Kevin comes out of the elevator they're either kissing or having a fight. Then he pulls her out of the way of the bus which shows it's something about her. Then, lets see..AJ coming off the bus with Denniz St. is also a real sad moment. I think that was Max Martin driving the bus! Well anyways..I love AJ's part when he looks around and puts his hat on..Howie's part is also very sad. The part with Caroline (his sister) in a red dress was a VERY good move. Red against Black/White or faded colors really stands out. I liked the fading to this one, also as well. In the whole video the best parts would have to be all of them and their lonliness' coming together. It's like Kevin gets out of the elevator and Nick's there and then AJ gets off of the bus so everyone's slowly coming together and then Kevin calls Howie over and they all ..come togehter. Another fave part is when the camera spins down to Brian when he says 'Tell me why can't I be there where you are!' THAT was a cool move. Well thats my 2-cents on it. Thanks for those of you who read it.

I'm not positive what the whole songs means, but I feel like I'm living it whenever I here or read the lyrics. From what my mind tells me it's about how life goes, the hardships on the way, being alone and unhappy, dying from needing the one you love, and not being able to see through blind love when things start going wrong... that's what I think. It's only in my opinion... Anyway, PEACE out!

Well, I personally loved the video and the song. I think that it is so touching and that it does have a true meaning to it. The Backstreet Boys are very talented and have alot of excellent videos, but for me this video is the best because I think it can relate to everyone in one way or another. By the way A.J. RULZ!!!
