Show Me The Meaning of SMTMOBL: The Video

I didn't think that most of the scenes were too hard to figure out. Brian's obviously reflected his surgery. The saddest part is when he gets to the end of the hall and he opens the door and walks into the "light at the end of the tunel"--as if they killed him. Then Kevin's part shows the loss of his father. Howie's part is supposed to be about his sister--although I think they screwed up his part again--just like in LTL! Then AJ's part could be about just missing their gf's in general or it could be about Amanda. They were apart for the European part of the latest tour--maybe it was his way of showing her how he really felt?!? Who knows! Then there's Nick's part--ummm??? I guess he could be the guardian angel ( as some have said) or maybe it's supposed to show how they aren't able to go anywhere without something happening--Just an idea. So the entire video is dark--which represents the sadness and then at the end when they walk into the sun set it's all colourful so it show's how at the end of the day-no matter what has happened- they come together and things turn out alright. About the girl with the candles near the end--someone told me they had to put that in to cover up the part where people were throwing things at them..I don't know for sure **Note: when BROK first exists the hotel look at the grond behind him--a white circle of mayonaise!!! that's too funny!! Kevin's scene gets me every time; he's sitting there watching home movies of him and his dad before his dad died. I have read different articles saying what each of the different parts mean (Howie and his sister, Brian and his surgery, etc.) But, I think what the Boys were trying to express was that there lives aren't all glitzy and glamorous. They are lonely, and not always happy. Date: Sun Jan 16 22:55:30 2000 Well this obviously is a very touching heart felt video that draws from experiences that they had to go through or feelings that may have been felt! You have Brian looking on at himself in a hospital, this probably shows the fear that he had while having his heart surgery. A.J. on a bus could symbolize how when he's on the road how he misses being with the one that he loves. Kevin is watching a video of him and his father, he's remembering the past wondering if his father is looking down on him from heaven or even if his there beside him through it all. Howie has his thoughts on his sister Caroline, and Nick could have gone through something tramatic, or even he could have regrets on letting a love go and he wishes he didn't. The bus shows the words Denniz St. on it, Dennix Pop was a producer that worked with the guys and they were close unfortunately he past away, and on the bus hanging from the rear view mirror is a rosary (a beaded cross that is used to pray) this could show that they are all very spiritual. Who knows these are just my opinions, I can't be wronged for having them because these are opinions! The ending of the video I feel shows that through it all they are together, they have endured so much but continue to be there for eachother and the walk out together to symbolize that things will happen around them but through it all they stay tight, they are brothers, and will help eachother! There is one main theme in the vid, but I think each scene is something different for each of the guys. Like: Brian's scene: This was a representation of what could have happened during, or had surgery been delayed. His death, and I think this was a representation of him knowing the whole time of his risk. A.J.'s scene: This was a representation of his girlfriend that I believe died in a car accident when he was, 15? I can't quite remember. Kevin's scene: This helped viewers realize the death of his father in 91. Kevin's dad died of cancer, and I'll bet he used to play football with Kev all the time when he was a kid. Howie's scene: I think this has to do with the death of Howie's sister. She died of Lupus. This video is too sad for me to handle! Dang! Nick's scene: I think Nick's scene just deals with the fact that he is single and would like to have the girl by his side. The one that would appreciate him, whether he is there or not, she'd know he cared for her none the less. Anyway, that's what I think of the video. It was awesome and I hope they do more like it. Although, it must have been a total emotional joyride, I'm sure they're proud of the results they got! When i saw it for the first time i cried me eyes out! I t shows all the pain, tragidy, and sadness that still happends in their lives. It was also very touching how they put Denniz on the bus. Telling him thanx for all the help u gave and that they will always care and remember u. *Brian* his heart surgery was a tragic moment in his life and it shows that. It also shows the worryment that could have happened and in this case it did. When he watches himself die, the people trying to save him, and he can't do anything about it is just so touching and sad. The sadest part in his role though was when he dies and goes into the light. *AJ*(the love of my life) his part was very sad also if u think about. If u ever lost a boyfriend that u cared so deeply for it scars u for a long time. It shows the sensitive side of AJ that not all people get to see. When the tear fell down his eye i was just astonished. Then when he saw her walk by without even havin a care to look at him was showing that he still morns the loss of her. HE looks very sad in the video but he still looks hotter than ever! *Kevin* Kev's part was one of the most touching i think. Watching the videos of him and his father showed that he misses him dearly and loves him deeply even though he is gone. I don't know how he could do this role and not cry while watchin the videos of his father and him.Th en when he looks up in the sky and says "ARE U WITH ME NOW", was like he was askin his father that. In his role u can actually feel the pain that he has been going though. It is very emotional *Nick* I didnt get his part as well as the others. But it seems that he was feeling lonely walkin all by himself. Then in the Nick of time savin a girls life. Lookin in her eyes probly made him feel what he was missing in life. *Howie* D's part was touchin how he can still see and feel the presence of his sister. Then seeing her disappear in a blink of an eye was touching. You can tell he misses her more than anything. At the end how they all come together tells u that no matter what happens they will still be their for each other. To support, comfort and to show love.
