I think itīs the best video they ever made.

I have deep respect for them,i guess it was so hard to film it.

We all know the deeper meaning behind the video, thatīs what makes it so sad.

I especially love the end.I think the blown out candle is the candle of life.Itīs blown out and i think somebody died.

(Denniz Pop?)

When they walk from the black and white into the colored landscape,i think they walk into heaven.

Anyway,i just want to say i love the video, and they deserve respect for making it,because itīs so personal.

Luv ya all,and Keep Lovin' Them!!!

I think that SMTMOBL is the best video BSB has EVER made due to the fact that it is so orginal and different. Every time I see it I cry my eyes out because it not only shows that there is hope after death and loss but shows that the boys are human and have feelings just like each and every one of us - their fans. Keep it goin BSB!

The video expresses alot to the group. It's a great meanful video with a story behind it. I'm so glad they made this video because it passes the sterotype look on the group and "boy bands" in general. Critics who doubt the Backstreet Boys think that they really don't have anything to say only to their lawyers. Right when I saw that the video was taken place at night in a cold, rainy day, I knew this video was going to prove something, if anything, to the critics. Adding to that, the song itself was written beautifuly. One of many of the Backstreet Boys' good work.

Now to the point, What does the video mean?. Well I know real, true BSB fans have the Rolling Stone magazine, right?

It explains some parts of the video and where they filmed it. For those of you who don't have it, and I quote:

"...a scarily seedy hotel in downtown L.A. Wwhere a single room will set you back all of $11.99 a day, $17.75 with bathroom and TV, though a sign in the lobby warns, NO PILLOWS, NO TOWELS.

"There's alot of crack addicts walking around", says Richardson. "I think a couple of them recognize us. Last night at, like, four in the morning, when Brian was shooting, somebody threw a mayonnaise jar out of the top floor because of the nosie. That would be one of our non-fans."

The idea of the video is that each Boy has his own scenario that relates to the theme of loneliness, then they all come together for a grand climax. Howie's section plays off the loss of his sister to lupus. "I feel comfortable because everyone knows about the whole situation," he says before heading off to shoot his scenes.

...In Kevin's scenario he reflects back on his father. "I lost him to cancer in 1991,: he says. "We wanted this video to be more personal. In the video, I'm sitting in a hotel with some old movies, watching me and my dad." Other sections seem less personal - A.J. will be "looking through a telescope......"

If you have Rolling Stone read what they say on A.J.'s part. I guess that's what A.J. first had in mind for his scene, but we know it turned out differently. As for Nick's, they really didn't say anything on his part or what it means. We all know what Brian's scene means. The article continues to say what the boys did on set, signing autographs, etc.

I would like to mention how this article ends:

"...The guys do one more shot for the video, strutting down this L.A. back street in all their glory. When people throw crap at them, they keep walking. And, of course, keep winning." ...Beautiful :)

..And remember Keep The BackStreet Pride Alive!

I think that the video represents each of the Boy's loss. Brian's loss is his heart surgery. I'm not sure what AJ's

loss is. I've heard that it may be a twin sister or his girlfriend. Kevin's loss is his father. Howie's loss is his sis.

I think that Nick represents a guardian angel of some kind. He doesn't really have a loss but he saves the girl from

being hit by the bus. Deniz street is honor of Deniz PoP. Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely is all about loss.
