Howie is remembering his sister and about the years that they spent together growing up. AJ is remembering how he loved Amanda so much and that he misses her. Nick is asking himself why he doesn't have a girlfriend. And that he is lonely. Brian is remembering about his heart surgery and that he is so happy to be alive but he also lonely and sad that he went through something so tramatic. I thought Nick was trying to find his "true love" or seemed lost, but I think Nick's part was all about finding warm comfort and more meaning in the arms of his "love" and saved her before he lost her forever. Brian was so sad and I remember when it was around the time he was undergoing the surgery, I was sad thinking he wouldn't make it becuz ofcourse there were doubts, but he's proven himself strong. Kevin, took me away. He looked fine when he was coming outta the elevator, don't u think? AJ was letting go of painful memories of his past girlfriend, and I think he did a great job with through his expressions. Howie, is telling us that he is alone and is lost eversince he's lost his sister. And as Brian steps outta the hospital, he asks life's destiny why he can't be where his loved ones have gone. As in "tell me why i can't be there..", tell me why i can't see you or smile at you. The really interesting part is that they focused on things that were all true for each boy- except for Nick's scenario-I still haven't figured that one out for sure. It's cool because it's like a personal look into what they've each gone through in their lives. I've heard different things about the song's meaning--you know, like, it's a thing about Denniz PoP or Brian or something. I really think that the lyrics speak of a kind of love, like when you have miserably failed to get someone to love you and you still are dying to get back at their heart and with them (it happened to me, still goin' on...damn, I never think I'm gonna get over her...) It sort of is a desparate do-or-I-die kind of plead to a lover who doesn't know how much they mean to you. The video doesn't quite hit it right on, but, in the first place, the concept is difficult to visualize. The video tugs at the heartstrings just the same, and it really helps bring out the power of the song. The scenes of loss and loneliness (especially "Denniz St.") really bring an insight into the issues of the Backstreet Boys, as an entire effort (including family, friends, health, the Boys, the band, and the songwriters and producers.) I gotta say I really love the video and the song is probably the most meaningful and powerful the Boys have done. Keep it comin' Boys. Brian's senario, of course, shows how sad it would be if his heart condition didn't work out for him, and he died and went to heaven. AJ was mourning over the loss of his girlfriend on the bus. Kevin was reflecting on his father who died earlier. I have no idea what Nick's senario was. Howie was mourning over his sister who also died. Not only did this video show each Backstreet Boy's personal side, I also know that the BSB dedicated this song to Denniz Pop who also died. You can see the words Denniz St. on the front of the bus that AJ is riding. So, I guess you can say that this video has many different meanings; one for each Backstreet Boy, and one for Denniz Pop. AJ As for him, when he was young, one of his girlfriend was killed by a bus. So AJ is sitting in a bus looking at an old pictures of his gf. Kevin Well this one is so easy...you can see kevin's dad. Howie The link is that Howie lost his sister ans she supposely appears somewhere (pictures or something) in the video. Howie loosing his sister.Nick I guess it's about him trying to find the right girl and like saving her from the bus hitting her can symbolize that he really cared for the girl.
