Show Me the Meaning is an incredibly deep song that shows the depth of feeling and loss each member of BSB has felt over the years. There can be no one single interpretation of the video because I'm sure each guy has a variety of feelings, emotions and memories it evokes. It is obvious they have all been through some tough times and trying experiences and that shows through the video. The themes that are most apparent are the loss and apprehension Brian felt prior to and during his surgery, the sadness and memories Kevin carries with him daily regarding the loss of his father, and the terrific pain that is obviously still tearing at Howie's heart at the death of his sister from Lupus. Through these themes, the guys show how they deal with death and how they face it in their lives. As for Nick and AJ, their themes are a bit more open to interpretation. Contrary to popular opinion, I do not believe Nick is searching for his true love. It is speculated he pulled a girl from the path of a car in real life. This would be the most practical interpretation. I think that he is using his scenes to deal with his fear of death, as he is trying to avoid it through pulling her away. I think he is afraid of losing those close to him, as is seen in the symbolism of his actions. Some say AJ lost a girlfriend in a car accident. Assuming this is true, it explains the guilt and pain he feels as he rides the bus to his final destination, Denniz St. If you will notice, all the guys end up on this street, with Kevin meeting Howie to bring him along. This also has significance. Due to his experience with death and his lingering sadness, Kevin may have helped Howie deal with his sister's death. This scene shows that he was there when Howie was ready to look to him for help, when he realized his sister was gone (she fades away...). I think the fact they walked down Denniz St. has a lot of significance. It is hard to lose someone you have worked with so closely for so long. They are obviously mourning his death and paying tribute to him in the end. The last scene, as they walk off into the desert, has the most significance for me. They are heading off into the unknown. The desert has long been a symbol for loneliness and loss, as there is nothing out there. Also, when traveling through it, as you can see in the scene, no end can be seen to the vast open space. I think they are saying that they are leaving the memories and actual events that caused the loneliness, but they have the vast space to cross before they can find meaning or an end to it. An important thing to note is that they all joined up and walked into the desert together, meaning they will be sad and lonely at times, but they will always be there for each other, for support, which is the most important thing about being friends. This video was by far the deepest and most thought-provoking I've seen in a while. Congrats to them. :o)

I love the new clip, it signifys all the loved ones they have lost recently and recent traumas. Kevin's father, Howie's sister,Brian and Kevins grandfather, their manager Denniz Pop and Brian's heart surgery. I would love to know what Nicks part is and whether or not AJ's part is a lost girlfriend. I would also love to know what is Nick's first line- it should be Guilty Roads To An Endless Love but it sounds like Beauty Roads or Beauty Roams, very confusing. I think it is their best clip so far, the camera work is incredible, the colour scheme, the whole concept is great and I applaud them on another job well done.

I think the video is sad. I like the video. It definitely shows the mature side of the BSB. When I first saw the video I cried. Especially when I saw Kevin watching the home movies of his dad. It hit home with me since I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 17. I feel the video showed a personal side of all the guys.

I think the video is a nice departure from the earlier ones. I believe the scenes with AJ, Howie, Brian and my favorite Kevin are pretty obvious. I don't know what they wanted to say with Nick but it comes off looking like he has some kind of God complex. It could just mean he feels like he has to be a hero.

This video obviously goes deeper than just a bunch of guys w/ out friends. the video shows real emotional stuff that has happened in the guys lives. brian has had a hard time from the day that he fell in front of his grandparents house to this exact moment. aj lost a girlfriend in a car accident earlier in his career. kevin's dad passed away leaving the family devastated and at a lose of words. nick really did save a girl from being hit by a car and as we all know, howie's sister died of luekemia last year. these 5 guys have heavy burdens upon their backs like the rest of the world, and this is a way to show how they feel, to show that they deal w/ the hurt and pain of lose as well.

I think Brian's part means that he's dying because of his heart, Kevin' is him watching a home video with him

(not really him) and his dad playing football, Howie's is with his sister, Nick is saving his pretend girlfriend

from being run over by a car and A.J. I have no clue what his is.

I THINK THIS VIDEO IS VERY SAD AND IT IS AN EXCELLENT VIDEO !

When I saw the Show Me video, I thought that it was one of their best videos yet. When the song by itself, you can almost feel the pain of the guys as they went through such as the death of Howie's sister and Kevin's dad, and Brian's heart surgery. When you see the video, it is almost the song in a form that you can see. The video also shows that although some people may believe their life is perfect right now, it really isn't. Even though they are famous, they still have to go through setbacks in the life the same way everyone else does.

I think that the video was the boy's chance to express their feelings on many different things that went on in there lives. For example... Brian's heart condition and Kev's father passing. The others may have just went along with the theme of the song. I do believe that no matter the true meaning of the theme is, all fans simply LOVE that video!!!!!

everyone has that question about nick! i personally think that he's the angel of death and he's taking that girl to where she belongs. isn't that the same girl aj was mourning? i would think that makes sense cause he's dressed in all black too! but anyways, this video is so touching and i swear i almost busted out crying! and u know a bsb video is good when hard core nsync fans (like some of my friends) who really don't like the bsb love the video (and the song)!
