THERE IS DEFINATELY A DEEP MEANING IN SMTMOBL. BRIAN IS SAD ABOUT HIS HEART AND ALL (I MEAN C'MON THAT MUST BE VERY HARD ON THE GUY AND WHAT IF HE WOULD HAVE DIED?) AJ, WELL HE IS OBVIOUSLY SAD B/C OF HIS G/F WHO DIED WHEN HE WAS 13 IN A CAR ACCIDENT :O(HE DIDN'T LEAVE HIS ROOM FOR 2 DAYS). KEVIN IS BROKEN UP ABOUT HIS FATHER'S DEATH FROM CANCER AND HE'S WRITING A SONG. NICK HAD TO SAVE THAT GIRL, I MEAN HE WATCHED HIS FRIEND GET HIT BY A BUS AND DIE AND HE COULDN'T DO ANYTHING. AND HOWIE, HIS SISTER JUST DIED AND IT'S NOT LIKE THEY WEREN'T CLOSE. NOW JUST THINK ABOUT IT THESE ARE REAL THINGS THAT HAPPENED TO THEM, IT WASN'T JUST MADE UP AS A VIDEO CONCEPT. OF COURSE THERE IS A DEEPER MEANING.

Hey!! The video is awsome! well, my thought on the video r:I think all of them r dead n Brian is cryin cuz he died, Kevin is crying cuz he misses his dead but as he died, he'll meet him but he's sad cuz he has to go. All of the other guys and even Kevin and Brian are sad cuz they died and they'll have to leave their girlfriends on Earth! so when they go talk to them they dissapear cuz they're not dead so it's like "tell me y i cant be there where u r.."
ok they're all goin to Denniz St. That means they're dead n they're gonna meet the loved ones that have passed away!
Nick saves the girl cuz he hadn't died yet, but he does die at that moment (the splash in between them means it).
You may notice they're dead when Kevin does that "it's time for us to go" sign to Howie with his face! It kinda means they can't stay on Earth anymore and they're finally going to Heaven! That's y his face is kinda sad. They're all pale cuz they're now ghosts! You may see it when Brian opens a door n u c a white light. They all then meet on Denniz street and go to Heaven, which is that place that shows at the end of the video.
The girl lights a candle because Nick died in her arms. And the wind that blows it means that Nick knows she lit that candle.
When the girl looks at the moon and the sky is purple it means she's lonely! Never felt like that? You feel lonely and look at the sky.... It feels cold. And she's lookin at the sky hopin to see the boys because the sky is Heaven.

I think that SMTMOBL is the Backstreet Boys best video yet. This video appeals to their mature and emotional side. This is the video that will set them apart from other "boy bands" and teen sensations. The Boys are growing up and this video reflects their growth. This growth has come from much loss unfortunately.Brian shows us the loss that came of his heart surgery. We all felt that loss with him and can truely understand what that part means, not only to Brian but to the fans and everyone that cares about B-Rok.
AJ is experiencing a loss from a relationship. I am a little uncertain about whether it is a love relationship, or something else. The vanishing girl is the representation of him always being reminded of her.
Kevin is watching a film strip of his dad, who passed away a few years ago. Kevin is looking fondly back on the memories and moving forward in life at the same time.
Howie's loss is that of his sister. Once again (like in AJ's) a vanishing girl appears to remind Howie that his sister will be with him always.
Nick's part is where I am really uncertain. Someone explained to me once that he is protecting the girl and stopping her from killing herself by walking in front of the bus. This is the best interpretation I have heard. If you know of a better one pass the infomation along.
"Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" is full of symbolism of the losses experienced by the boys. The video also contians a tribute to their late song-writer Denniz PoP. The video also leaves hope for the future with the boys walking into the sunlight.
The video was beautifully done. I give the director and everyone involved in this video a big THANK YOU! This meaningful song could not have been portrayed any better.

I think that the 'Show Me the Meaning' video is telling about the losses that the boys had and what could of happened. Like Kevin is watching a video of him and his dad playing football and his dad died in 1991 so it shows his loss. Brian was in the hospital and it shows that he dies from his heart probleum {when he's walking into the light, watch his eyes, he looks up into heaven.} Howie lost his sister, Caroline Cochran, to Lupus earlier last year and AJ and his girlfriend, Amanda Latona of the girl group Innosense, broke up. And if you notice when AJ gets off the bus, it reads Denniz St. Denniz PoP died of cancer last year so they had that loss tto deal with. So all of them had a loss and they wanted to let out the hurt feelings and confusion they felt. This is of course only a thought...

i think that video actually i know what the video is about expect for maybe nick's part. i think his is about,it's not about lost i know that for a fact. he's is about being there for someone i mean just by the way he saved the girl. anyways the video is about being lost not being able to be where someone they love is. like aj's for a fact is about his g/f that died when they were 13. she died in a car accdient. if u listen to the part he sings "nights of light so soon become,wild and free i could feel the sun. your every wish will be done they tell me" it sounds like breakup but actually it's not. the words in the song are just so touching it makes u cry. when i saw the video i was with my cousin who is also a huge aj fan we just sat there in slience and didn't say anything. thats how good the video is. my friend holly is a kevin fan and when ever she see's the part where he is wathcing his father she starts crying. i haven't cried yet but when i listen to it a get a hole in my stomach. i don't think that any other video could compare. nsync's new video will not be able to beat bsb on the count down. bsb is way to good and can never be compared to nsync. the video is a very emotional video and it will always be number one in the fans hearts and on trl! don't forget to watch the grammy's in feb the boys are preforming either i want it that way or larger than life or maybe don't wanna lose u now which is supposed to be the boys new single!!!!!!!!

Ok So this video is the best video they have made so far! Even though I have barely seen past Brian's part cuz I always start crying when he dies! You can just see all the fear and sadness in his eyes when he sings that "for the broken heart" line. What is Nick doing in the video? I mean, i know hes saving a girl from getting hit by a bus, but ....why? I mean... wouldn't he want to do something about heartbreak or losing someone you love? Maybe there's just something he never told the fans... Anyways, the video is the best! I think it should stay at #1 when NSuck [sorry, had to] premiers their video Bye Bye Bye. So vote for BSB!!! KTBSPA4E!!

I think this video is a good one. It has a lot of good messages in it. It does not have a dance scene like all the others did. This one is unique in this way.Brian's part is sad because it shows him remembering his near death when he was five and his surgery in 1998.
Kevin's part shows him remembering his father who died of cancer in 1991.
A.J. and Nick lost their girl friends due to a hectic sedule.
Howie's part is him remembering his sister Caroline who die in 1998 of Lupus.
At the end the boys get together and sing the most powerful part of the song. They the black and white, to go to the happy place.
In this video they also mourn the lose of their beloved producer and song writer, Denniz Pop, who died of cancer at the age of 35 in 1998.
In this video a cameo apperence by Max Martin.
I think that this video has a great message of never to give up on anything, no matter what the situation is.

i think this video is beautiful and i feel for all of them theve been threw some tough times but they always have time for there fans thats what makes them different from the other boy bands oh and they actually can sing! just my oppinion thanx for reading!
