BSB have been together for eight years and have stuck together through thick and thin no matter what has been thrown at them, they could'nt stay together for that long and not be like brothers. If you stopped liking BSB just because they are married, engaged or whatever then you were never really a fan in the first place. Though I can sympathise with you up to a point, loving a group should'nt be about availability/good looks etc, it should be about the music. What if a member of Nsync got married/engaged what would you do then? which group would you like then? I was'nt dissing all teenagers, just the Nsync ones who send in spiteful remarks about a group just because they do'nt like them and if you notice they never give a valid reason as to why they do'nt like BSB. But if you want I can give you a list as to why I do'nt like Nsync's music, but the main reason is that they do'nt have very good vocals, and I love to listen to peoples voices (I do'nt dislike the boys themselves as I do not know them) I am proud to be a BSB fan, they are the only pop group that I like a lot and I like them because they sing like angels, not because of how they look and not on their availability. As for the other bands that you have spoken about, the reason that they were never mentioned is because none of their fans have been on this site trashing BSB but Nsync fans have, why is that? But I think 98* are very good vocalists (better than Nsync but deadly dull) BBmak are also very good (I heard them a long time ago when I visited the UK and my son bought me one of their cd's cos he thought that I might like their voices, he was right) LFO (do'nt really know much about them, not bad though, heard worse) Westlife (Westlife have got to be the most over hyped band in the UK, they are dull and they could be any five lads singing boring songs and their voices are awful) That is my opinion for what it's worth. As far as I can see I did'nt trash Nsync, I gave an opinion, you may not agree with it but that is your perogative. I do'nt know what newspapers you have been reading, but if they have a five album deal then they have another four to go after the new one, so that is untrue. Also where did you hear that they are fading? For a band that are fading and not in the limelight at the moment, they sure do create a lot of interest, especially by the press. If you do think that they are fading, just look at the interest that this new record is causing (and it's not even going to be the new single) and people are talking and speculating about the new album already and it's not due for release until November. And if you do'nt believe me just look through the pages on this site, there are thousands of people who want to know what they are doing. The fact is, they are growing up and they are not a teen band any more, they appeal to adults quite a lot now and that is the way that it should be if you want them to stay around for a long time. At the end of the day it is we adults who will decide if we like a teen group or act enough to buy their singles because when teenagers have had enough of a certain band, they fade into obscurity, but I have spoken to enough 40 year olds to know that is'nt going to happen to BSB any time soon. Many stars such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Janet Jackson have all had huge record sales, but as you get older less people buy your music, then you are left with hard core fans who will buy your music no matter what and that is what BSB are aiming for and it looks like it is working. Keep the faith, they will be around for a long time yet.
