It's funky, upbeat, has a more straight-foward R&B feel to it and has the ability to expand their audience even further than it is already. (and face it, what other group of this type can claim to have fans ranging in age from 4 to 64 and all nationalities?) I envisioned the video featuring a lot of hot dance moves from Fatima (maybe using a pole or the antenna they use in concert) and lots of sexy looks from our guys. Maybe with a remix and directed by Hype Williams or Joseph Khan (again). But at the same time, I can see why they would be hesitant to relase it now since "BBB" (a blatant copy of "DWYB") is so hot right now. BSB has always been leaders, NOT followers. So while I'm not particular;y fond of "THE ONE" (although I love the lyrics and the message of faith), I can see why the guys would've been thinking of that as the next single. It's too bad that some fans chose the song only because Nick was asked his opinion on what he liked. KTBSPA---forever! Personally I thought that the next single could be any of those three songs as they are all good. However I did vote for 'The One'. Contrary to popular belief, I did not [key word: NOT] vote for that song just because Nick said da da da da da da. I don't get MTV. I could care less what Nick has to say, even though he will probably have some say in what the next single will be. I voted for 'The One' because: a. I like that song. b. They just came out with another more 'rockish' song [LTL] and I feel that having 'The One' as the next single would be a nice bridge between the other songs on the album [SMTMOBL, IWITW, DWLYN, TPF, and IGBY, DWYB]. c. Hey it's a song that was co-written by a BSB. Says who they don't write their own music? [a fact I have been trying to explain to my brother for years!!!!] That's about it! But Nick sure does have an effect on people. Cause "Don't Want you BAck was in the Lead by like 9 points, so after i voted a couple of times I was like well we won, yea! And then on MTV they said their next single was gonna be "The One" and i was like damn! But it could have been any song cause that Millenium cd is tight period.
