Millennium: Concert Memories

Well, considering it was my first concert (but SO not my last!) I am gonna have to be corny and stereotypical and say that one of the best parts was when I first saw them come out on those flying surf board type thingies! Oh, I saw them and started BAWLING! Literally! But another REALLY GREAT part of the concert was when they sang "Back To Your Heart". I used to love that song but it was never one of my favorites. Well, that all changed. During that song, BRIAN WAVED TO ME! Okay, I know that every other girl standing within 25 feet of me would like to argue with me and say that he waved to HER, but nonononono...it was me! (I went to the Charlotte concert on February 17, if u would like to email me and argue!) He looked into my eyes during the first chorus and I was screamin out, "I LOVE U BRIAN!" and then he waved to me! I will never forget the look on his face. When he waved, i looked over at my friend (Courtney...she went with me) and I said, "HE WAVED AT ME!" Then I started BAWLING again and she hugged me and said, "I SAW HIM!" Then, during "Spanish Eyes" the stage was rotating and every time Brian looked over in our direction he waved at us! It was so great! Then at the end he pointed at us! MY BEST FRIENDS AND I STOOD OUTSIDE FOR HOURS BEFORE THE CONCERT SO WE COULD SEE THE BSB BEFORE THE CONCERT AND GET PICTURES AND SAY HI AND EVERYTHING. MY FAVORITE PART WAS WHEN WE WERE SINGING IT'S GOTTA BE YOU AND THE FIRST BSB VAN PULLED UP, AND AJ STEPPED OUT. The whole show was just unbelivable Submitted by Alexis from Georgia USA Date: Thu May 25 01:39:37 2000 My first memory of the Into the Millennium concert was trying frantically to get tickets so that I could see the Backstreet Boys on my birthday (November 24), which was my 13th. I was so unhappy and I didn't really do anything special all day. I was really upset because I know several people that could have taken me, but I found out they really weren't my friends; not because of not taking me, but they really could have taken me, though. Then I remember the concert. It was freezing outside (very windy) and my mom, my sister, and I took MARTA (rail system) to the Georgia Dome. I was squished standing next to all these girls in leather pants, tiny pieces of fabric you might call shirts, and really tall-heeled sandals. It was kind of comical because it was so cold. That February 19, I don't remember anything about any of the Backstreet Boys...except for Nick. Hot Nick totally cutting up about his new haircut, wearing that hot AE 33 jersey, singing the part I had been waiting to hear all night "Am I sex-you-alll?", and him singing Spanish Eyes! It was awesome! I had a really great night and a wonderful memory, as well. E-mail me!! I WAS SO CLOSE I GOT TO TOUCH HOWIES HAND AND I COULD SEE NICKS PIMPLES!!!!! SO ANYWAY ON FEB 15TH I WOKE UP AT 6AM WENT TO STUPID SCHOOL AND ME AND MY FRIEND KRISTIN GOT OUT OF SCHOOL EARLY AT 12 AND THEN WE DROVE TO ALBANY AND IT WAS A 4 HOUR DRIVE CUZ WE LIVE IN SOUTH WESTERN CONN . WE GOT THERE WE WAITED IN LINE AND THEN FINNALLY THE DOORS OPENED WE FOUND OUR SEATS THEY WERE SO CLOSE I MEAN THE STAGE WAS RIGHT THERE WE COULD JUST PUT OUR HAND OUT AND WE COULD PRACTICALLY TOUCH IT AND AT ABOUT 8PM THE JUNGLE BROTHERS CAME OUT AND THEN ROCHELLE!! THEY WERE OKAY THEN FINALLY THE BSBS CAME OUT IT WAS SO LOUD I COULD NOT EVEN HEAR MY SELF TALK THEY DID LTL FIRST NICK FLEW RIGHT OVER ME AND KEVIN WAS RIGHT INFRONT OF ME IN DWYB I LOVED IWITW IT WAS THE BEST SONG KEVIN WAS ON MY SIDE AND AJ SQURTED WATER ALL OVER THE AUDIENCE AND DURING IWITW NICK AND HOWIE WERE THROWING STUFFED ANIMALS AT EACH OTEHER AND BRIAN WAVED AND POINTED AT ME DURIN IWITW ALL AND ALL IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!!!! AND I SKIPPED SCHOOL THE NEXT DAY TO GET MY PICS DEVELPOED!!!!!!!
