Millennium: Concert Memories

I just have to agree with that girl from Halifax that is bitter about the whole BSB deal that they only come to Toronto. I am from Canada too, and I know exactly how she feels. It pisses me off when BSB only comes to the Toronto, I mean the last BSB concert I went to was in August of '98, yes '98. And they have been to Toronto how many times? Too many too count. At least *NYSNC recognizes ALL of Canada not just one part, therefore I am having more respect for *NSYNC. But then I think, who the hell am I to complain when there are people in Asia and in South America who have NEVER seen BSB in concert because they've never went there. I just hope sometime in the future BSB will realize that they have fans all over Canada not just Toronto, ONT. and all over the world for that matter. So those that are from TOR. be damn lucky you get to see them, and damn thankful. But guess when it comes right down to it, BSB favors fans, at least *NSYNC doesn't. And I for one are going to buy *NSYNC's CD, because they rock, and so does BSB.

My fave part of the show was when kevin was hanging down in the bar singing don't want u back oh my god he looked soooo good my friend took like 3 pics of him with the bar and in the beginning when they come out it was soooo cool and i got to seat in the front row ahhhh! it was my first time going to a bsb concert i'll never forget about it. i couldn't believe that kevin touched my hand at first i was getting sick so i sat down then i see all the people going up more so i did then i see kevin walking by then he was touching this little kid right next to me and then he had to go sooo i looked at him and reached out my hand has far as i could then he looked the other way but he stuck out his hand and i touched his hand i was screaming the whole time and then after the show i was screaming right in my friend ears and i couldn't stop talking about it and ever since the concert i been talking about that still to my friends and my cousin. i can't forget dec 6,1999 it was the best day oh u know what we had to return to my house cuz my friend forgot her ticket at my house then we went but still we went early like 1 1/2 hrs we waited as soon as we got to the front door everybody was yelling backstreetboys and some people thought they were really there that was funny for me.

ok, where to begin..... oh i remember thinking with louise (my best friend) that we were finally gonna be in the same room as the bsb!!! wow. we didnt manage to get tickets on the 1998 tour and we were in tears. so when we heard about the 1999 tour we made sure we got our tickets the day they came out... only we couldnt!! louises mom couldnt get through. adn so we got themthe next day and can you belive it?? we got the very back row! i was so bummed. but then again i have never screamed, cried, laughed, smiled and danced (not all that gone on it unlike louise!!) in my life. oh it was the best night ever. and we had the most enjoyable night ever. and nick was so hot and when they were all sat down on the second stage bit and talking about which their favourite songs were and when in "it gotta be you" the crowd was all pointing to them and they were so obviously enjoying what they were doing! so anyways we then booked for the 16th june (we went on the 13th too) with another one of my best friends, parisa. we waited for hours (im not joking) for them to appear but in the end the guards had to shut up the gates. bear in mind that there was us and two other people there left at this point!! but we were soooo convinved that they were still in there that we didnt care. and then we realised that we had missed our chance to meet them. well theres always the next tour isnt there?? and this time were are turning up about 4 hrs early.we turned up 2 hrs before doors opened this time. im gonna be prepared next time!!

Okay, in 1998 I went to my 1st Backstreet Boys concert, I loved the concert, and I didn't thought that The Backstreet Boys could make a concert better, but as it turned out, they really could.

Living in Charlotte, NC, I got to see BSB twice! They were so awesome both times-their old tour is nothing in comparison. I stood on my chair the whole time. An usher-woman tapped me on the back in the middle of the show. I thought she wanted me to get down. She really wanted to use my binoculars. I would have to say "The Perfect Fan" was the most touching and "Everybody" was the most electrifying. "All I Have To Give" was the best all-around. I would have to say the person that attracted the most screams was Nick, but AJ was real close. The best lighting was "The One," the best choreography "Larger Than Life."

Nothing will ever make me forget all the memories I have from the Millennium tour! November 2nd, was the greatest night of my life! I will remember it forever! I will never forget how I felt the very first time I saw my Boys that night flying out on the boogie boards (except for Kevin, because his arm was in a sling)! I couldn't move, I couldn't talk, I couldn't scream, I could hardly breathe! I just stood there looking up in utter shock as my idols and my dreams glided above me. I didn't want to blink, and risk the chance of missing something. So, there I stood, as Larger Than Life began to play. Suddenly in a mad rush, the tears came and came hard. I couldn't stop them if I tried. My best friend and I just stood there holding each other up and trying to offer each other some sort of support during this emotional time. Then AJ was over on our side of the stage and that's when my balance went completely. I fell immediatly onto the ground in huge sobs. The same thing happened to my best friend when Brian made his way over to our side! Eventually, we achieved some kind of sanity. We screamed so hard and loud, we lost our voices completely for three days. After the concert, besides being in the hole after having bought nearly $200, worth of stuff, we were depressed. The whole concert seemed like a dream or a haze. It's hard for us to even remember most of the concert now. It's sad that all we have now are the souviners and pictures from the night that changed our lives forever. The night we saw our dreams come true! :-)

I would have to say that my favorite part of the Into the Millenium tour was just seeing my boys perform live. I saw them twice during this tour and all I can say is WOW!!!!! They are so talented. I have seen a lot of concerts and I can say for certain that they definatly put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. Not only was I impressed with the presence that they have on stage, but when I haerd them sing Show me the Meaning... I cried, the emotion and power that they have during that song, just blows me away. Hearing that song live, proves beyond a doubt what we have all know for so long, These boys can sing,

Oh wow, I'll remember everything from the pink and lavender suits to Brian playing with a little stuffed Taco Bell dog to AJ getting his shirt torn off to Nick asking "Oh, so your familiar with the Millennium?" to Howie rapping to Kevin dribbling the basketball clean off of the stage. But my favorite memory will be that part right before they launched into LTL, when the cameras zoomed in real close on Kevin and he did that little smile and eyebrow lift. It was at that point I realized I was in for the time of my life. It was also the point I gave up trying to stay calm and started yelling like a maniac!
