My first concert ever was the Backstreet Boys on 2/12/2000 in State College(kinda sad since I'm 19, but oh well), so the whole experience was fantastic. I lost my very close friend in an accident on 12/12/1999 so I wasn't in the best of moods, I didn't even want to go, but I'm glad I did. When the boys did "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonley" and Howies voice broke with emotion in the intro, I knew that I wasn't alone in loss. When Brian was on the jumbo-tron and a lone tear went down his cheek, the song took on more meaning. I felt that everyone in the Bryce Jordan Center was coping with some kind of loss at the moment and it was such a nice feeling not to be alone anymore.

I really didn't go to a concert, but this goes to the tour. I remember when the tickets went on sale. The 'Boys' weren't coming to Rhode Island, I don't blame them, the arena is too small for their stage. I rememeber waking up and waiting for 9 o'clock to come. At 8:45 I was on the phone. I couldn't go up to Boston to wait in line for tickets so I stayed home and figured I'd try to get tix on the phone. I waited and waited, dialed and dialed, yet the tone never came, it was the endless noise that was suppossed to mean 'You can't talk to us because someone else is.' I was on the phone for 3 hours trying to purchase tickets and see the men who inspire us so much. I never did get those tickets, the Boston concert sold out in 8 minutes, but I never gave up trying, and that makes me feel good. Even if I didn't see them live it's their voices that I fell in love with.

I went to the BSB into the Millennium concert on November 29, 1999. It was the best night of my life! The best memories that are so clear in my mind of the concert is when I forst saw the boys come out, b/c I was creaming so hard for them! Another one was when Nick flew over my side of the audience during "Quit PLaying Games.." Also when they had the dancers battle, AND when Brian waved @ me @ the end of the concert! I will never forget that night!

I loved every single moment of the February 28th concert. But what I liked most out of it was AJ. He was so silly. He made me laugh so much my sides hurt. I liked the fact that it lasted for almost 2 1/2 hours. This concert was my first concert I had ever attended. I enjoyed it very much. It was an experience of a lifetime. Too bad I didn't get to see the second show. My friends met one of the ladies from the opening act at the Galleria in Houston. They got to talking to her and she asked them if they had wanted to go because she could get them some tickets. They told her yes and not even an hour later there were two tickets at the will call window waiting for them. The friend that was talking to her, I was suppose to take him but at the last minute I cancelled on him and took one of my other friends. He had told the dancer that story and that's why she gave him tickets. In the end they didn't even end up going. I told them that they have to go because it would have been an experience of a lifetime. But as things happened that night they just ended up not going. I was just like your lost, because I had already been the night before. Now they regret not going. But once again I had a blast at the concert and I did purchase my program and glow stick. I'll cherish them for the rest of my life.

Sadly, I didn't get to go see the BSB perform during their into the millennium tour..but i did see them.i saw them perform the national anthem at a pistons vs. knicks basketball game! it was great but i was stuck with views of their butts...but thats ok:) the best memory i had was the ride there and the 2 mins i saw them sing. i couldnt breathe but i was glad that i was breathing the same air they were breathing! I HEARD THAT YESTERDAY AJ WAS GETTING MARRIED TO AMANDA LATONA IN A MAGAZINE CALLED "US" MAGAZINE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT FROM MY COUSIN. EMAIL ME AND TELL ME IF YOU'VE SEEN IT OR NOT OR IF U KNOW IF IT'S TRUE OR NOT..PLEASE! I think that my cousin is just trying to get my sister's tickets to go see AJ perform as Johnny No-Name....she's trying to make my sisterget mad at AJ and not wanna go anymore so she could get her ticket! that's exactly what i think she's doing....what a liar!(if it isnt true!) well, bye peoples!

At my 1st BSB concert, Sept. 17, my fav. part was when Kevin's pants fell down. At my 2nd concert, Feb. 20 (B-Roks B-day) my favorite part was when the guys (minus Brian) and us sang "Happy Birthday" to Brian!!

I went to BSB's San Antonio concert on March 1, 2000 with my little sister. It was our first Backstreet concert, and we still can't get over how wonderful everything was.

I am always loving it when Nick pretends to kiss the video camera! I remember when I saw BSB at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Classic Charity event, and Nick pretended to kiss the camera. My face had been really close to the TV screen, so of course, I screamed! :) But, at my show in Atlanta, GA, on the 19th of February, Nick knew the camera was showing him close-up, so he puckered up, and I just had to scream! :)

I went to the November 2 show in Iowa City, Iowa. Since my seats were so far back, I couldn't really get into the "show", but the singing was amazing! I was so shocked at how good the guys sounded live (especially with all the dancing around the stage). One reason I really loved the concert is the fact that I left the show with a whole new respect for Nick's singing. Before the concert, I hated to hear Nick sing, but he just blew me away at the concert! I also loved seeing Kevin at the concert--even though he couldn't do too much because his arm was in a sling, he still worked it! I also loved how they had to work the opening around Kevin since he couldn't fly. It was also cool to see that it is true that Backstreet has fans of many ages (all those parents weren't there just to bring their children), and it was fun to go with "older" people (not really old, but a lot of people claim that their fans are under 13)--I'm 19, one of my friends was 19, and my other friend was 22. The trip there, the running around trying to get backstage passes before the show, and just enjoying the show together was quite an experience--hey--we even met one of the dancers (Ro Ro), and there was some guy with him video taping that looked like Howie's brother (the one that was shown in the Disney special)--but I'm not sure.
