Both shows proved to be phenomenal, and my favorite moments were hard to choose. However...it had to be the big encore...when they come out, sing "It's Gotta Be You" and let loose a little bit, showing us how REAL they truly are and how much fun they can have. Also, it gave them and the audience a chance to see the band and dancers that also played an important part in their tour. I also thoroughly enjoyed the tributes to moms during "The Perfect Fan". When the boys kneel down at the end of the song--it's enough to make anyone cry. Absolutely amazing performances. The Backstreet Boys are major major talents in the music industry. Submitted by Jenn Marie from Ottawa Ontario Canada Date: Tue Mar 21 23:14:44 2000 I was at the November 12th show with my bud Steph here in Ottawa.You just cannot describe the feeling of seeing BSB live. My fave parts were when the boys came out of the "little black box". My heart was racing and I just can't describe the feeling I felt when I saw them above my head. If I close my eyes I can still hear the Star Wars theme and I can remember vividly one hand waving my glowstick in the air, and my other hand covering my mouth cuz I was crying and I kept on saying "Oh my God, Oh my God!!" This might sound funny, but my other fave part was actually when the concert was over, and everyone was leaving. Steph was getting mad and saying "Come on, we're gonna miss our ride!!" But I couldn't care less. I was still in my dream world, and I couldn't move! I was there for about half an hour, watching the crew dis-assembeling the stage, then I finally got up and left. It was hard for me to leave, I didn't wanna let the memories go. It was definately the best night of my life, and I can't wait till the next concert!!!!! KTBSPA!!!! Date: Tue Mar 21 22:16:50 2000 My memories of the Into the Millennium tour will be with me for the rest of my life. I attended the two Las Vegas shows with front row seats. What else could a girl ask for except that after the show a BSB tour employee tipped me off with the information that the boys would be out at the Las Vegas Country Club the following day to participate in the Save the Music,Fairway to Heaven charity golf tournament. What a day that was. Five hours with Nick, Brian, Howie, A.J. and Kevin and hardly any other fans out there to create a problem. I was able to talk to and take photos and get autographs with all of them and I got an extra special hug and squeeze from Nick. At the end of the day I was able to give Nick a personal gift. How can you beat that? I thought it would be mighty difficult to do so but, it happened back home on December 6th at the National Car Rental Center for the final BSB concert of the millenium in Fort Lauderdale. It was time for "The Perect Fan" and I had been chosen as one of the five along with my Mom to be on stage with the boys. The boys were picking their partners and Nick picked me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The film clip was chosen for Millenium TV on backstreetboys.com when Nick was featured on stage during "Perfect Fan". That is me with Nick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a year for BSB. What a year for me. Submitted by Veronica from Springville CA United States Date: Tue Mar 21 22:15:35 2000 Hey! My favorite part of the Into The Millennium Tour was when EYC left the stage! J/K. I didn't get to see Mandy Moore, but I did see her tour van on the way to the show. Well, anyways, we didn't have the greatest seats on Earth (all thanx to the poopy guy who sold our tickets only hours before we were gonna buy them, BTW, they were 5th row floor!) but thank God it was a small place! I mean, the screaming and noise was huge, the crowd was huge, but the place seemed small once you were inside. The concert was a blast and well, my fave part was when after almost every song, Nick (slobber, drool) would just fall on the ground on his back. It was so hilarious at the time! He would just out of the middle of nowhere, fall. I laughed my head off when Bri pulled his red hood over his face so that you couldn't see it, and he started moving funny as if he was a rapper. I ESPECIALLY liked when they sang IWITW when Nick (slobber, drool) does his cute lil' solo part, "DON'T WANNA HEAR YOU SAAAAAAAAAAAAAY..." and like, a split-sec after dat, EVERYONE IN THE WHOLE FRIGGIN PLACE screamed their loudest the whole night!
