Hey guys,I went to 2 shows on this tour, one on the first leg and one on the second and they were both amazing. I won't comment on the first show in Philly on Sept 29 which was great but I had horrible seats. I did however have 6th row floor seats for the Valentines Day concert in Albany New York and that whole weekend was amazing!!!!!
Well yes my friend and I did travel all the way to Albany on the bus for the concert. Missing class, missing work, missing V-Day to see the concert. We are college upperclassmen so you know we were teased the whole time about being fans. Not to mention the fact that we are African American. Anyway. We had the best seats on the aisle. We were right in the front and we know that they saw us because we were really acting crazy, and we were the only black girls up that close. At one point we kept pointing at Howie and so he waved to the crowd, we kept pointing at him saying you you you and he pointed to himself and waved and winked at us. Then Brian was in kind of a bad mood it seemed because he wasn't interacting with the audience as much so we knew he saw us and he wouldn't wave so we flagged him like ok whatever so he flagged us and waved back.
Then AJ was right in front of us doing "All I have to give" and my friend and I know all of the dances to all of the songs so we were doing the "hat dance" and Aj started laughing and had to pull his hat down over his eyes.
I loved "Don't want you back" because they were getting freaky on the poles. Kevin(my fav) was right in front of us. The whole concert was the bomb. We didn't stop singing ,dancing, or standing the whole time and our ears were ringing for days.
But the show was not the best part. We ended up meeting the band at the hotel. We were sitting right next to a table of the dancers. We've got pics with Bubba(the drummer) who sat and chilled with us for hours before and after the show.
That still isn't the best part. Our waitress told us that AJ had been in the hotel loungue shooting pool the night before and that he would probably come back tonight. So we ended up meeting him. His bodyguard(marvin) was being really mean and wouldn't let us
get autographs or pics and when AJ was going to sit down and talk to us he told him it was time to go.
We waited around a little longer and we just missed Howie coming in but we got to meet and talk to Kevin(who was extremely nice and attentive to fans even at 3 in the morning)
we got hugs and pics and that may be my favorite memory from the tour.
Thanks guys for a great time my friend and I will never forget.

I went to the concert at the Georgia Dome on Feb. 19, 2000. It was sssssssssooooooooooo good. I had gotten 6 tics off the internet from ticketmaster.com. It was me, my mom, dad, sister, cousin, and aunt. My friend, her mom, and 2 cousins also went with us. A WHOLE BUNCH of other people that I knew were going too. Then 2 nights before the concert, 95.5 the Beat was giving away the second to last pair of tickets to the concert. When Stick says to call in, I always do, just to see if I get through. I had been looking up BSB sites and BSB in concert on Disney was on when I called, and it rang FOREVER. I was about to hang up when Stick said hello. I was extactic. I was so nervous. I was about to PASS out. But I gave him all the info and asked him where the seats were and he said that he didn't know. So my dad picked them up the next day and they were on the second level, 14 the row. I was so disappointed. We all had seats on the 2 nd level anyway, but I thought that since I had won them off the radio that they would be floor seats. But at least I got to go. Our limo was late picking us up and I thought that we were going to miss the "Surf board" part. Then we had to wait in traffic. People were getting out of their cars and walking faster. But we finally made it, and we had to run to get our seats because we had to help all the family members find their section, since we all had different sections. When the show started, is when I began to scream and I didn't stop until it was over. One of my favorite parts was Nick's new hair cut! He is ssoo FINE! The other thing that I liked was their new opening act outfits. They looked like they had more muscle. The best part was that Nick came out and said that we were their biggest crowd that they had ever played for! Our crowd was bigger than the Super Bowel. After the concert, I got a counterfit shirt on accident. Then I saw my friend that I hadn't seen in 4 years while waiting in line to get Alex's autograph(Six Piece). She had gotten FRONT ROW and had cought AJ'S GLOVE. I was ssoo mad, eventhough Nick is my fav. Then, our limo didn't show up, and we had to take MARTA home at 12:15 A.M. There were 10 of us all together. We got on MARTA only after we had been waiting outside in the FREEZING COLD for 2 hours trying to find him. But it was the best concert that I'v ever been to. I cryed when they sang "The Perfect Fan" and "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely" I even cryed when we got home and before we went. I cryed before we went because I was so happy to be going to see them, live in person. I cryed when I got home because I wouldn't be able to see them live in person until their next concert, if I got tickets. Plus, I know two people that some how have a connection to Leighanne. One girl's confusing knowing ends up where a boy is Leighanne's nephew and the other knows someone that know's someone (you know how it goes, confusing) is related to Leighanne. BSB are the best!

I was at the Toronto show on March 15, the last show of the tour. I came early to meet the KISS 92 DJs and get some autographs.Well, after getting pics, etc. w/ the DJs my friends and I went and visited the hotel. On our attempt to get out we got lost and found
ourselves, completely by accident, in a back stairway with signs indicating the direction of the BSB Management Office.
Being understandably curious my friends and I continued down the stairs until we discovered the Office and a door to the
backstage area. Realizing that we were not quite welcome in this area by the many stares we recieved, we began to make our
way back up the staircase, ever so slowly, when we heard voices. Two of my friends bolted up the stairs in fear while
myself and my friend that had stayed remained waiting in silence. The voices then carried up the stairs until they
disappeared into the Management Office. Thinking that one of the two voices sounded oddly familiar we ventured down the
stairs ever so quietly to see who it was when out walks a security guard who thankfully didn't notice us as he was quite obviously lost,
and then we came face to face with AJ, who was also quite lost and late it seemed. So, feeling as though it would be
rude of us to stop him when he was late we said nothing and he continued relieved on his way. That is definitely a moment
I will remember because it shows AJ in such a normal perspective, and I like it. I even saw the majority of those tatoos
as he was wearing a bright orange t-shirt to show off his decorative arms. A great memory! And, of course the
concert itself was unbelievably good!

3. being in the same room as the guys (even if it was an arena or hotel filled with thousands of people)and actually getting to see them in person! instead of just on tv or in a mag!!
4. The guys flying entrance

18. passing by nick's dad as we were walking out of the hotel (my friend got to ride in the elevator with him and a crew member! not fair- he didn't even know it was nicks dad till we passed by him later and i pointed it out. they even talked to him and asked if he saw the show and what he thought about it! i think i would of dided if that was me!!)

The BEST part of their tour?? .....[eventho the BSB didn't visit western Canada] I took my daughter to where the BSB were touring ..... that surprise was the best gift I could have given my daughter Kelly! We flew from Winnipeg to SLC, Utah for the Oct. 29th concert ~ and NOTHING can/will every match her excitement of being there in the same room as Nick and the boyz! for her 14th b/day ......experiencing what everyone on BS.net was talking about -- a great concert!

I haven't been lucky enough to attend a BSB concert. I tried to get tickets when they appeared in Nashville last Nov., but by the time I got to the ticket counter they were all sold out. It's fun to read about other people's experiences here on Backstreet.net. I notice that BSB fans are different from other fans. There is a real LOVE for the Backstreet Boys. The guys really are so special, and I just love their music. I hope they will be together for a long time. It must be tempting for the Boys to think about going solo, but their real unique talent is in the blend of their voices and personalities. AJ's stint as Johnny No Name is cute, but I hope he never leaves the BSB.

Alrighty , what were my fave Into the Millennium - moments ?I saw 2 concerts of the tour , one in Ghent , Belgium on June 2 '99 (yep , the premiere ! :)) and the other one in Köln , Germany on June 7 '99 . The one in Belgium was absolutely the best ! I waited for hours to get a good seat and I did ! :) The one in Germany was also awesome , but I kinda had nosebleeding tix , but anywayz... So the coolest moments were during the concert in Belgium . It already started with the 10,9,8,7... famous BSB countdown... we all knew it from the Tour 1997 and when I heard it again , I was totally freakin' out ! Yeah , well , actually the whole concert was amazing , but three things that I really loved were : At the end of "It's gotta be you" , when the guys were walking around the stage for the bows , they all went left except Brian who went to the right . Now I've seen him acting silly , but this was just totally crazy ! How he ran back to the other guys... great !! :) The second awesome moment was this one : when they went offstage after "It's gotta be you" , they acted like it was the end of the show . And although we knew that they still had to do IWITW , there was that weird feeling of "oh no , it's over !" . But then we heard the beginning of IWITW and the moment when Brian started singing "You are...my fire..." , that was just... can't find any words for it !! :) It was awesome !!! That moment , I realised how much I love these guys... a LOT !! :)And the third great moment wasn't during the show actually , it was when the lights went back on : all the girls around us were soooo sad that it was over , some were crying and stuff... Now I knew that I was gonna see them again 5 days later and I tell you... that's a great feeling ! :)
Well , up until now I saw 5 BSB concerts and every time I see them , I'm more sure of it that these guys are class-acts ! Their shows are the best and I can't wait to have that great OMG-I-am-seeing-the-BSB-in-real-life-!!-feeling again !! :)
