How do you feel about Kevin's marriage?

Submitted by Kim from Orlando Florida USA Date: Sun Jul 16 16:37:35 2000 Well...I live here in Orlando...home of ALL these 'boy groups' and such, and I have to say...I'm glad these guys are finally moving on with their lives. BSB has been a household word for what, almost 7 years for most of us. Kevin is 28 years old...it's time he finally settled down. I'm genuinely happy that he's found someone that he can share his life with, and although I think it's great he's found happiness, I think this is really going to hurt their image. We fans all know that these guys have had and still have girlfriends...but we just don't wanna think about it when they are on stage, and singing to each of us individually (at least, I always think they're singing JUST TO ME-LOL!). But to have one of them actually get married...it's starting to hit home that the Backstreet Craze might be coming to an end. When Brian gets married...I really think that the boy's days are numbered. While I would LOVE to see them continue to make music...and I know they are all going to still be as adorable as ever even as married men, their popularity is going to hit the skids. Admit it, at one point or another, we all thought that eventually, at some concert somewhere...or some mall or some event that we went to to see the boys...there was a voice in your head that screamed "Just wait till he meets me...he's going to fall in love with me, and I'll be in heaven"...don't try to say you didn't, cuz we all know differently. But as each boy "grows up"...their popularity is going to decrease...because new and bigger groups and talents are popping out everyday. As much as I hate to say it...I think that marriage is the worst thing to do for a group like BSB...they are riding at the peak of their careers, and I can only think that they are hurting their image. And besides...I can't believe Kevin picked her over me!! LOL. Just kidding. After all, when your married it's a big responsibility, especially when your traveling world wide. I'm afraid he won't get to spend time with her, and they'll have to cancel tours so he can spend time with her. And that might cause fights between the guys and nobody wants a mad musician, ya know? I mean, yeah, okay, kevin got married. they might not take such long tours now. but everybody is saying that this is the thing that will break them up! did the beatle's break up when one of them got married? um, nope! so everybody should just calm down.
