I have told this story before but I will say again that I was ready to spend whatever money, time, effort

it took to get Backstreet Boys tickets for my daughter Kelly. Her birthday was on October 7th ... official

BSB Day!!!! My girlfriend lives in SLC, Utah so she happened to be at the hairdressers that day talkin'

about BSB not having a concert in Winnipeg, Canada. This hairdressers daughter had a wristband and

was willing to buy us the tickets for the Oct. 29th concert at the Delta Centre in SLC, Utah. I then go

a call from my friend the following saturday that we were got 2 tickets $45/Amer. which is about

$90/Cdn. each. That was fine -- I would pay for that .... I just needed to find 2 tickets to SLC now.

I checked with NWA everyday to find reasonably priced airline tickets. Finally, on October 15th I booked

2 tickets ($550/ea) to fly to SLC. I didn't tell my daughter all that I was planning. I just arranged with

the school that she would be gone .... arranged for 'sitters for her brothers and her dad was cool with the

whole thing. A day before we were to leave for SLC, her dad announced to her, "Sorry, Kelly but I am

working and your mom is going to visit her friend in SLC so you won't be able to go to the school

dance" (she would be looking after her brothers?!?!)

Then we presented her with a giftbag -- inside was a magazine with BSB on the cover!! She opened the

magazine and inside was her NWA ticket to fly with me to SLC and as well a copy of the BSB tickets

for the Oct. 29th concert. She SCREAMED for over an hour -- calling all her friends :-)packing and

thanking us for making these arrangements to see BSB and her fav. Nick Carter! It was SO worth all

the planning and money that I spent ....... we had great front row (not floor) seats and later we got to

see the BSB bus leaving the Delta Centre destined for Denver. My biggest thanks goes to Jenna from

SLC that actually stood in line for us and made this "dream come true". I was able to give my daughter

the "ONLY" gift she wanted for her birthday -- to see Nick and the Millennium Concert! **Her BSB Mom **

I had great seats, I mean we could see the BSB really well, we payed a ton but it was worth it 100%! And did I say they were hot? WOW! When I threw a flower up on stage and the Boys kissed it then threw it back to me I was shocked, Imean I will never throw that away if it is the last thing i do! I had the unfortunate incident of dealing with "ticket brokers" (also known as thieves) for my Into the Millenium tickets. When August 14th rolled around, I was stuck buying tickets for two shows: one in Washington, DC, the other in Iowa City, IA, all from my home in Baltimore. The tickets for the DC show were for my little sister, the Iowa show for me and my best college friend. I spent all morning trying to get my sister tickets, and after almost FOUR hours, a lot of sweat, tears, and humiliating begging at the Ticketmaster window, my twelve year old sister was the proud owner of ONE ticket for September 19th (remember, this is a 12 year old at a concert alone). My father nearly killed me for making her go alone, and by the time I got around to buying my Iowa City tickets, it was long since sold out. Needless to say, I did in fact cry.

When I got to school two weeks later, my best friend and I began calling around to the Brokers to try and buy our BSB tickets. We are devout, devout fans, and thought that we were willing to pay anything. We just didn't realize what "anything" meant. I called and inquired as to the cheapest seats they had (we were content just to be in the same stadium as the Boys), and just for fun, asked what their best seats were. He informed me that he had two THIRD ROW seats, $400 a piece. My best friend screamed a lot of unprintable words so loudly that everyone in the hall heard her, and after putting the poor man on hold repeatedly while we hyperventilated at the thought of seeing Kevin, Howie, Brian, AJ, and Nick from the third row, we gave in and purchased the two $400 seats. That was all my spending money for the year, that was the money for my plane tickets home for Thanksgiving and Christmas, that was the money off of which I was supposed to live for the year. And I had just spend it all on Backstreet Boy tickets. Because I loved them that much. But there was a catch. Because we had spent SO much, the man had to fax us a special form. We had already done the credit card transaction, and the tickets were ours, we just had to walk down to Kinko's and receive the fax.

We walked silently, thinking about what we had just done. $400 on a single ticket. Yeah, we loved them more than anything, but $400??? Halfway down there, we realized that we couldn't do it, and we ran to a pay phone and called the man back, begging for mercy and for our "non-refundable tickets" to be, well, refunded. Luckily, he was a very gracious man, who laughed nicely at us, and told us he had a feeling we'd change our minds. We swapped seats, and paid about $150 for 17th row, something a bit more manageable. And all was well and good, until the day of the show when they resold all the best seats in the house, at normal prices. Seats that had been given to the Boys, crew, and band. So girls who weren't even fans, who just wanted to go for the sake of going, got to see the Backstreet Boys, from the front row, for about 1/5th the price of what we had paid. While we found this horrifically unfair, it didn't matter. We had an amazing, amazing time because we were there, and we were lucky enough to have seats for the best tour of the millennium.

After seeing the show, however, I will say that $400 for third row IS in fact worth it. I don't have that kind of money, but if you do, and you're willing to spend it, I say go ahead. You know you'll get your money's worth :)

Okay, i've already written in here telling how much i paid for the tickets (only $40- yeah i know not very much but those were the only seats left) okay so here's my story. It cost $40 for the tickets (they weren't that bad of seats), $15 for a rental van to get there, $40 for merchandise, $10 for food, and lots of other stuff. I spent a total of $120 at the concert! it was ALL worth it though. Seeing my aj live was the best night of my life. and it will always be until the day i meet them. which i will someday....keyword: SOMEDAY!!!

I paid $525 for two floor seats at the Philadelphia concert in Sept., 1999. Although the concert was awesome, I wish I had purchased seats in the lower level because it was difficult to see the stage from the floor level.

Tried to get tickets to BSB concert when they all went on

sale and sold out within the first hour. Unable to, we then called 1-800 SOLDOUT. We were able to get the tickets,

but they were $300 each. We bought them, but we also had to fly to New York ($200 round trip each) and 1-night stay

at the Sheraton Motel ($100). Add the cost of food and

souvenirs, and the trip gets very expensive. It was well worth it for us, but disappointing that we had to pay so much. They were floor tickets, but everybody stood up throughout the concert and many people held up posters and it made it diffcult to realy enjoy the show. I hope to go to another concert in the future and be able to sit, relax and enjoy the show, and maybe not pay so much.

Well, I know that I payed $150 for my first concert, Millennium Tour on November 3rd. And I payed $53 to go again! March 7th. I think that is totally worth it, if I had a lot of money I would pay anything cause it was the BEST show!!! (To see my concert experience please go to my site! http://www.angelfire.com/myband/backstreetboys69/index.html
