How much would you spend on a ticket to a BSB show?

My story of my obsession with the Backstreet Boys is a pricey one! By this I mean that I have spent over a thousand dollars on tickets to the Millennium concert alone. (Yes, I admit it! But hey, I know I'm not alone out there!!) On the aftermath of the tour, it is safe to say that I am almost a broke college student!!! But it was worth it all...every penny. The expierece at the concert was priceless, especially when I had second row tickets, which I paid $305 a piece for. If I could do it all over again, I would spend at least $500 a piece on tickets to be that close if I had to.

I got 10th row back for the Nov 11 Toronto show. I was third in line. I was offered up to $1000 for my ticket. I dont know how much I would pay. If I had the money I would pay as much as I had. The BSB concerts are truly an experience of a life time. I don't think you can put a price value on them.

Hey all, well first of all, I've only been to two BSB concerts! But that doesn't mean I didn't spend all that I could afford for the things that went right along with it. I went with a friend of mine to one of the shows in Chicago, those tickets were a birthday present, and let me tell you, we had 9th row on the side!!! But, that left the hotel my friend and I stayed in we paid almost $200 for one night, just to say that we stayed in the same hotel they stayed in! Then we traveled to Kansas City to see them, again the tickets were a birthday present, but they were nosebleed seats!!! That all changed when we got in line at the venue and paid for two tickets in the 6th row for face value!!! But once again, we needed a hotel room and paid for gas and food for an entire weekend away from Illinois! It was the best road trip I'd been on so far! I'm just glad that my friend is as crazy as I am when it comes to BSB!!!! I would pay anything if I could, and I'm sure she would too!!!

I've been quite lucky in that I haven't really had to pay outrageous prices for BSB tickets. The first show I went to a couple years ago was a Christmas present, so I didn't have to pay anything. Both tickets were $60 together, but they were the highest section in the SkyDome in Toronto and they sucked! Then for the show on Howie's birthday in Toronto in '98, I paid about $45. The week after that I saw them in Syracuse, NY and I paid $19 (US) which is about $30 Canadian. We had the VERY LAST ROW! The last show of theirs I saw was Nov 12th in Ottawa, and I paid face value for that one also, which was about $65 for 100 level. I'm going to two more shows in the new year. A couple weeks ago I got tickets for the last show in Toronto, and I paid $70 (face value) for 100 level. Then on Saturday through an auction on ebay, I got 11th row for Albany, NY on Valentine's Day. They cost me $207.86 for those two tickets. So as I said, I've been really lucky, but I would pay just about anything if I had the money!

The last concert I went to was in Las Vegas, NV on Oct 16th. The actual ticket cost me $137. The plane tickets for me and my parents, don't even ask. $150 for the rental car, plus another $50 for the gas to drive from Los Angelous (where we flew into) to Las Vegas. Plane tickets back to Maryland again. Needless to say, this was my christmas present, probably for the next 10 years. It cost a few thousand for me to go see them in concert. For my next to concerts in PA, I hit my aunt up. She is driving me and did the hotel and everything. She even was the one to get us the tickets. I love my family!

I would pay for a great floor seat up to 150 dollars for my ticket. If it was up in the back (nose bleed) probably 45-60 dollars. If I couldn't see anything I would pay a lower amount. If it's front row and backstage passes anything!!!

In Chicago we paid $125 for mezzaine seats, in Madison we paid $250 for second row center, I personally would not pay more than $300(but if I had plenty of money to spare we are talking the skies the limit, this is BSB ya know) since the face value of the ticket is around$40. After calling brokers you get the idea of how they work, they want to sell the tickets! so if the show is coming close haggle with them, and they will drop their price. I think it is a real crime the way the whole ticket business is being run. Good for BSB for standing up for their fans by promoting charities and getting rid of unfair vendors.
