I think that Santana did deserve most of his awards ,but not the ones for pop music like best pop album and pop colabration his muic is not pop music.I tink pop music in the grammys might mean popular music and if yo go to the grammy.com site it just sas pop not pop/rock if it ws pop/rock I could understad why he won.If im right I belive that BSB Millennium was the top selling album of 99 so I think bsb shoul hve wo atleast that one an maybe song because I Want It That Way was like the biggest hit of the summer and some of the fall and Santans Smooth (that he did not sing so Rob tohmas shoud of been the person to get the grammy)i think came out almost at the end of the year so. Thats about all I gotta say bout it.

I have to start by commending the Backstreet Boys on an outstanding performance at this years Grammy Awards! They are a group of 5 talented "MEN" who can captivate an audience and they don't need robots, acrobats, or rings of fire to do this just their special gift: MUSIC!

One more thing, about that 'N Sync red carper interview on Rosie today. The Boys didn't diss them, just 'N Sync made it seem that way. First of all, the BSB were HELLA late! They must have neen the last people to get there. The only pre-show interview I saw was on E! and that was like 5 minutes before the actual show. And second, they were being pushed by those huge bodyguards. You could see Kevin waving and saying something, but 'N Sync kinda turned their back on him and turned to the camera. And third, I mean c'mon, if you see 'N Sync standing there with mikes, you'd think they were just goofing off and pass by them in your hurry to get inside. Nobody even talked to those guys, only Britney, LOL. And they were completely ignored in the Arista paty, they were standing in that little tent the whole night. So if 'N Sync fans thought their group was dissed, I just wanna set the record straight and say they weren't, ok? Although, it would have been funny to see those two groups together, there just wasn't enough time! Heck, at least BSB tried!

Our boys for sure deserved a grammy, i mean look it, how much have they gone thru this past while and still be on the top? I was getting a lil angry at Carlos Santana, and after yelling at him thru the TV while swearing every second word, i felt a little better.

First of all, I'd like to appeal to all BSB fans to please stop bashing Santana. I heard his album, and believe me, it was a Grammy-winning record. Sure, I hate to see him beat BSB, but I'd rather to lose to a living legend rather than anyone else. Please be mature about this, and stop calling him an old guy with stupid guitar, coz he can play a mean set of chords! And remember that tough music critics judge these awards, the number of albums you sold doesn't matter. I thought IWITW wouls surely win something, but those critics probably didn't wanna vote against the favorite (sigh, how sad...)I still think we could have won Best Pop Album and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group, but if Santana will sweep, he WILL, and Sting kinda came out of nowhere, but that's ok. It's already an honor to be nominated five times, and I'm sure the BSB realize that. And of course, there's that kick-ass performance by the guys. Seeing them up there twice is such an honor. And believe me, if *cough*'N Sync*cough* fans tell ya that our guys sucked, they are just majorly jealous (this happened to me, but now I just laugh at it). It might not have been perfect, but they did it live, with emotion and 100% dedication. If I were them, I'd faint on the spot coz you're performing for the toughest crowd in the world! My fave Howie might have did his part a wee bit too fast, LOL, but those high notes at the end made up for it (lookin' good Howie too, I love that outfit!). And the other guys seemed to put a little bit more effort on their songs too. I love how Nick changed around the song a bit, and AJ did that too. And it is such an honor for them to perform with Elton John, it was amazing how well they worked together. Awards or no awards, I'm still REALLY proud of the guys. This was a great night for them, and for us fans too, thank you BSB!

I think the boys deserved at least ONE Grammy!!! come on!!!! everyone knows that they have achieved a lot over the past year, and MILLENNIUM shoulda kicked some butt!!! i mean, that shoulda been album of the year, or at least pop album of the year. i think the Grammys are playing favorites with Santana, cuz he's old, been around longer than the people voting for him. they're not giving BSB a chance at all or any other young person, cept for Christina, a damn chance at it!!!
