In Iowa City the Grammys were tape-delayed until 9.00 pm! I never would have been watching the Grammys if "we" hadn't been nominated. How Deep Is Your Love? is one of my favorite Bee Gees songs. I loved Kevin's hair. It was so Beatles cute. Wanted to give him a hug. :) I thought I was over it, but I sat really close to the tv and spazzed out when they were onscreen. Show Me was great. I was so proud of Howie with his solo. I was like, Yes, yes, yes! Go Sweet D!

His trills were soooooooo great. C'mon, fans, give the man the love he's due! I loved AJ with his hat. So seky. I loved Nick's trills near the end of the song, too. I was like, Yay, Nicky, Blondie Sweetie! Wanted to give him a hug. I was spazzing over the trills for real. Does he have vision correction needs or was it just fashion? I got sooo nervous when the awards were read. It's disappointing we didn't win, but Carlos Santana seems like a great human being. Why, oh, why did Christina Aguilera win, though?

i really think that Backstreet Boys should have won something at the Grammys, especially for Album of the Year. i mean, its great that Santana won, but BSB deserves something. if you think about it, Santana is never on TRL, or even number one anywhere, i don't think anyway. i think that they just gave him the award because, as he said "i was invisible for 30 years". the year 1999 has been a great year for the Boys. but oh well. they're still number one for me.

Hello,

I think it was an excellent show. The boys should of won a Grammy but thats ok. I tink Nicks hair cut is damn sexy and he just keeps getting sexier and sexier as he gets older. I also think there performance without Elton John was the best!!! They are so talented. I can't wait till the concert in TO on Mar.15 thats soon. Well see ya. Oh yeah does anyone know where I can get the comic book written by my fav BSB?????????? Please!!!! Jodi Leary!!!!!!!!

Hey,

I was really upset with the Grammy's. I thought that BSB should have won at least one! They sold 13 million albums in one year and were the biggest money makers of the year and yet ,somehow, didn't get acknowledged for their acheivements. I also thought Santana , who did not sell any where near 13 million albums, didn't deserve as many Grammy's as he got. First of all he doesn't sing his own songs and doesn't write his own songs. But,on the other hand, the Backstreet Boys do write their own music and can sing their own songs. I don't think those who vote for the Grammy's want to admit that teen pop is back! The Backstreet Boys put on a great performance and looked so great. I just love Nick's new hair. I wish them best of luck next year at the Grammy's where ,I hope, they will finally win a Grammy that is well deserved for all their hard work and tough times!

Thank you,

Danielle

this is the typical backdoor boys intellect? Why the spelling and grammatical errors alone are enough to shock any 5th grade teacher !!\

Aanyway "Heather" you have to be the stupidest little slut of them all! Now back to the whine-a-thon for the back-alley boys

I think that there is no way Santana should have won, or even been nominated for, so many awards!

How could he be nominated for both best pop AND rock album? They are completely different! An

album can't be pop AND rock! Plus, all the judges were old men, I mean, of course they didn't like

the bsb! Sting shouldn't have beat them either, cause his song wasn't even popular. And how did

Christina Augulera win best new artist? She only had one song out by the cutoff! Britney had like

three, Kidrock had three too. And they were all better than that stupid Genie in A Bottle. Even

though I don't like Britney, she deserved the award more than Christina. And above all, BSB deserved

all the awards they were nominated for!

P.S. to my earlier message: A previous writer said that next time the Boys should write their own music and play instruments, for "credibility." They don't need to prove a damn thing. If they want to write and play instruments, fine. But their voices, individually and together, are their true instruments. You know, Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley didn't write their music, but they are icons of music. Grow up fans!! What the heck do you want from the Backstreet Boys? Singing, dancing, some writing, touring, videos, etc., etc. etc. How much harder can they work????

I was still feeling bad about the Boys not getting at least one Grammy when I decided to play my MILLENNIUM tape. As I drove to work and listened to my favorite album, I was reminded again of why I love the Backstreet Boys. First and foremost, it's the music. Each song touched me in a different way as I listened to the tape. It never fails that when I'm down, the Backstreet Boys help me to feel better. Truly, each cut on the album is special: why can't the critics hear and see it? Anyway, when the last song came on, "Perfect Fan", I started to cry. My mother just died a year ago and this song always reminds me of her. The Backstreet Boys are not afraid to be sentimental; yet, they're always right on target with their music. I was so proud of them at the Grammy show. Did you see how awestruck they were to be singing with Elton John? And when they did there medley, could you feel the electricity in the air? The Backstreet Boys are awesome, and I will be a fan as long as they put out their wonderful music.
