What do you think about the outcome of the 2000 Grammy Awards?

The words of the song have nothing to do with what is being conveyed in the video. The words imply many things ... like all good songs do. If there's anything about heart surgery or Lou Perlman in SMTMOBL it must be when you play it backwards. I'm 27 and consider myself a fan of BSB. Not a die hard fan by any means ... in reality I participate because my wife is such a big fan and I want to be a part of what's important to her ... but I've shelled out at least $1500 on misc. BSB stuff over the past couple of years. Listening to them since "The Beginning" doesn't make you any better of a fan than I am. The difference between you and me is that you'd prefer them to never grow as a group and have longevity. My point once again is: For BSB to survive they must innovate, try new styles, take chances, mature. As long as their fan base is kneejerk reactive to someone like myself listening or being part of the BSB music experience it will never grow and thus ... it will fade away. If I'm so wrong ... why was BSB performing with Elton John? Do you want to know why? They want to be taken serious as artists ... not teen idols. Elton did them a big favor by giving them the chance to show his fans and the world during his big moment that they are more than what people thought they were.
