What do you think about the outcome of the 2000 Grammy Awards?

What a night. Our boys did a phenomenal job. They are so f*cking amazing. And I can't believe that they didn't win anything. After those 2 performances if people can't see talent when it's right in front of their faces, then it's their loss. 4 nominations and they went home empty handed. I was heartbroken for them. That is such a diss from the industry. They deserved SOMETHING. It's not even a question of talent or no talent. It's just a way of disregarding them as artists just because they are a freaking pop group. The Grammy's are a big deal, but whatever. Elton John put it best when he was backstage after having just recieved the Lifetime Achievement Award. Not an exact quote but he said something like, it doesn't really mean anything anyway. The Grammy's are just "bullsh*t." Unbelievable. Then he made a face like--"oops maybe I shouldn't have said that, but like I really care." That's a laugh if I ever had one. I TOTALLY think BSB should have won something! Cause everyone knows they deserve it. The only reason Santana won all those awards is because the people who have the voting rights are old men that grew up listening to Santana or whatever. It's totally unfair in my opinion.......and OMG! Jennifer's dress was just as bad as Britney's at the AMA's! Are they going through each other's closets or something? Well...guess what they did and I wasn't the least bit surprised either. Although I thought everyone nominated along with the boys in the same category were equally just as good. So BSB not winning, isn't the end of the world. Maybe next year they'll achieve that goal. I thought their performance with Elton John was very impressive, although when they performed before that, I liked that one too.
