What do you think about the outcome of the 2000 Grammy Awards?

I FEEL SO BAD FOR THESE BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED MEN! They give their heart and soul to the music biz. and what do they get in return.......................... NOTHING BUT CRAP AND BAD COMMENTS!!!! I mean Santana is talented but BSB could have at least been picked 4 Album of the year. Millenium did beat all the previous record sales for the first week! I also wanted 2 say that they were on Rosie right b4 the awards. And I really didn't like Nick's hair when I first saw it but it looks alright when he just spikes it in the front. AND MILLIONS oif BSB fans and so many videos and so many people buying there records making them millionares is a hell of a lot to show for there hard work weather they get a Granny award or not.I think NSync said it best when asked whcih award do you want to win most? they said "oh we wont win anything thanks to Santana" I must agree that Justin need to cut that hair... man... im shocked that Nsync didnt win anything.... i think the Grannys have somthing against Boy bands and pop in general... its too new for them so they dotn want it.... i love rock but come on... did CC devile ( a guitarist fromt he band Poison) or Richie Sambora( a guitarist From Bon Jovi ) have won anything??? no.. there just guitarists.... and i think Rob thomas should get those awards... the writers and singers are the real deal... hence where the backstreet boys come in they should get commended for a lot.. i man just by here performance at the grannys prove there better then santana.... That wasn't fair! I hate it when one group or artist takes over at these types of award shows it takes the fun out of watching them. I mean what's the point of watching these awards when you know who gonna take them all home! Even if they're great, they are still labeled a "boy band"(damn the person who came up w/ that name!), and therefore, do not get respect. Hopefully the duet w/ Elton John made people see that BSB is talented. People have called BSB a "1 hit wonder", but BSB has been around for what, about 8 years?!? And has had numerous hits. I know that all of you are feeling sad and ticked off at the Grammy Awards. I feel the same too. Our Boys should have taken home at least one award. I was hoping that it would've been song of the year. I felt so disgusted when they didn't come home with anything. Essentially, THEY WERE ROBBED! I couldn't believe they came up empty. It made me feel empty because the guys deserved to win so much. They have worked so hard for so long yet they didn't get anything. I know that they've won other awards but the Grammys are the cream of the crop in music. The Boys are definitely the cream of the crop in my book. IT WAS DEFINITELY A TRAVESTY AND THEY WERE RIPPED OFF! (Don't worry, I'll get over it!) But I have to give credit where it is due and it goes to the awesome Carlos Santana! He deserved to win and his performance was outstanding. In a much more positive light, the Boys ar still young and vibrant so they will still be singing the biggest songs and winning a lot more awards. My heart goes out to them and I don't feel sorry for them. I think all Backstreet fans are taking their loss pretty hard because we've been there through all their ups and downs and we know that they've always come out of it as stronger individuals. Despite their loss, I will remain a loyal fan because in my heart, they will always be winners! This the second year they have been nominated and they have nothing to show for it. Also that Carlos Santana was nominated in EVERYTHING. I mean no one was safe! I seriously thought that BSB would win either song or record of the year. Most likely the one where they don't win the songwriters do. But still it would have been an award. And plus I understand that Santana's Supernatural is good but please! It's almost unfair to nominate him in so many catagories. He plays guitar very well and I undertand that. It's kinda not right to nominate someone in best pop performance then nominate them in best rock performance. It just seems like the awards are very one sided.
