I thought that The Backstreet Boys did a fantastic job performing at the Grammys. They always sing wonderfully, and those clothes! Were they great or what? I also happened to LOVE Nick's hair, and those glasses made him look his age. I just can't get over how great they are. I love them so much! I guess you can understand why I feel angry that they did not win a single award. They put so much work to make us happy, shouldn't they be repayed? Who decides who gets the awards anyway? Old people with no taste in music? I mean, their pattern was so obvious. The top Grammy winners were all old people. Like rapacious, old Santana. 2 awards maximum would be enough for him. No need to get greedy.Well, I can't change what happened, but all I know is that the Backstreet Boys will always be number one in my heart!

I am disappointed the BSB didn't take home an award. Even though the Grammy is the "ultimate" award, we know what our guys are made of and they are still #1 to all of us fans! They had awesome performances! I wish them luck next year!

I am addressing my comments to Amy from Austin, USA and to all the Backstreet haters out there! Yeah you...I'm talking to you guys! I am sick and tired of people like you who are so critical of the Boys!! If they had sucked that bad, they would've not been nominated for a Grammy in the first place. People tend to overlook the fact that the Backstreet Boys are NORMAL people. They are HUMAN too just like the rest of us and they AREN'T PERFECT just like you! Next time you think about putting someone down, think of your own flaws! Just because you can criticize someone else's faults does not make you any better than them!! In my opinion, those people who have a lot of crap to say about others are just insecure about themselves and need an avenue to let all of their negative energy out! But don't take it out on the BSB! They are a wonderfully talented group and they shined on the Grammys! All I can say is that the Backstreet Boys' performance was outstanding. I also think that you people who are criticizing Santana and Christina Aguilera should get a clue! People wake up and don't be so damn narrow-minded! Yeah so what if Santana took all the awards...he deserved it! The show is over and there's nothing you can do about it except piss, moan, and cry about it! Yeah the Backstreet Boys were robbed but there's no use in crying over spilled milk...GET OVER IT PEOPLE! You guys have to stop being so damn judgmental about they way they looked or sound! Just be proud that they were nominated and they got to perform TWICE! Any TRUE Backstreet fan would be proud of them no matter what! It is all about UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT! They will always be winners to me! Winning a Grammy is a very honorable thing but it doesn't account for everything! The Backstreet Boys didn't need one in order to be the best that they can be! Besides, the Backstreet Boys don't need a Grammy to show the world how good they are...the world already knows it!

Keeping the Backstreet Pride Alive,

Carol

They're performance was great!! They have wonderful voices for acapella. I envy that. Show me the meaning of being lonely was great! Everything was great. Except, not winning an award. I say that Santana has a wonderful album with his quitar works, but did he have to win 8 awards. I have two opinions one on each side. First, Santana has had a career for around 20 years and I think he deserves it. Second, couldn't they have one teen pop act to win an award. Look at Ricky Martin, Limp Bizkit, and, ofcourse, the Backstreet Boys. Couldn't they have won an award?

I thought the boy's performance was AMAZING. To take classics like that and perform it at the Grammy's took a lot of guts. And they did a breathtaking job. It's all about the art and the music for them. They didn't do some upbeat number with a bunch of dancing which would have totally taken away from the singing. They are singers and they don't forget that. And their performance with Elton John was so cool. Singing with a legend like him really says a lot. So even though it was the Grammy's--winning isn't everything. The fact that they got jipped by the industry doesn't take away from the fact that they are talented, true, and real artists. And they proved just how real they are with those performances. Our boys rock!!!!

THE BACKSTREET Boys were robbed! they could've won atleast one or two...okay, just one Grammy out of the 5 they were nominated for. c'mon now! Santana's great but 7 is plenty...share the wealth?

I know everyone is pretty pissed off for BSB not winning any Grammys, I am too! "I Want It That Way" is the ULTIMATE boy band song. But on a ligher note, think of it like this: if BSB can't win a Grammy, I don't think we'll have to worry about NSync winning any Grammys w/ "No Strings Attached". IF "IWITW" wasn't able to win, we KNOW "Bye Bye Bye" won't either! (I found this kinda comforting)

Hey all! I was so ticked off at the grammys. Santana got all the awards and he doesnt even sing his own song? I mean, whats up with that? I mean, really. BSB should've gotten at least one award cuz they have worked so hard for it. I mean, they are NUMBER 1,RIGHT? YEAH BABY!!! :)

I totally agree with you Anna. BSB was the best, and I don't see what's so great about Christina Aguilera. Sure, her voice is good, but her songs could use some work. And Sarah McLachlan is the best too. And I agree, she doesn't have to show off some cleavage to get to the top.
