Well I think they should have won all the awards that they were running up for. Thanks to Santana they didn't win anything that really pissed me off. I hate Santana. It's all about BACKSTREET BOYS!!!!!! :)

After finding out our Boys went home empty handed at the Grammys I felt so bad. Personally I dont like Santana and I really dont think he deserved the awards he got. He doesnt do anything. Did the people he work with get the award too? The album would suck if it werent for the people who sang. Last night I saw BSB in Tampa and I was really just thinkin about how much they deserve these awards. They are so talented, they love their fans & each other and theyre all so hot! Just because they didnt get any awards doesnt mean all their fans dont love them and support them. I really hope they werent too disappointed about it though. We all know they deserved it. Oh well.... anyway... does everyone just love Nicks hair? He looked so good and really mature at the Grammys! I really liked it! Ok well KTBSPA!!!

I respect Santana for winning most of the awards that they

did. But I don't think it was totally fair for our boys not to win AT LEAST Best pop album. I don't think the people

who decided the winners made a fair decision. We know that

they don't always write their own songs, or always play

instruments instead of performing choreographed dances. But they should be respected as true musicians, not as a

soon-to-be-washed-up "boy band" (as some call them). Their

music touches the hearts of millions, and their album was

the best selling album of 1999. Maybe they didn't think a

group like the Backstreet Boys deserved such a special

award. Perhaps they will change their minds next year. All

we can do is support them and pray that next year, they

will show equal praise to our boys as they showed Santana

this year. Hopefully, they will see the Backstreet Boys as

the wonderful musicians that they are, not the "boy band"

that they think only 13-year-old girls love. We all love

them, and their music will stay in the hearts of young and old alike for years to come.

I think that it was unfair that Santana, who hasn't been out since who knows when (my Dad grew up listening to him) just popped back in the music and bam he won every grammy he was up for. BSB have worked very hard and I was hoping they'd win.

I am so f*ucking sick of reading those negative reviews where they shred *our* Boys to pieces!

I saw the Boys last night and they were sooooo good.

They are amazing performers and the very people who dis them couldn't do what they do.

Well at least some reviews seem to be getting better. It IS getting better, but we still have to put up

with alot of sh*t. here's a quote to help:

"it is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out how the strong man stumbled, or where the doer

of deeds could have done better. the credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is

marred by dust, sweat, and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and comes short again and again, who

knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions, and spends himself in a worthy cause, who at best knows

the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while doing greatly, so that his

place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat." ~theodore roosevelt

Grammy 2000: A total disappointment for some, perhaps even all. Geez, Santana doesn't even SING his own songs! I think the award should've just gone to Rob Thomas... without him writin' da lyrics and singing da song, it probably wouldn't even have gotten nominated! Without the help of Clive Davis (Santana's manager person dude), Santana's comeback (if he even planned to make one) would have failed. :) My opinion, nobody else's... or maybe lots of others too.... but just worded differently i guess

As for da wonderful, talented, fione, sexy guys we know as da Backstreet Boys, WHO by the way i will be seeing in concert in Houston on Monday the 28th of February with a goddamn pole in front of me cuz i got obstruct view seats, they did a WONDERFUL performance! My favorite part of the Grammys! In my opinion tho, their performance of the Bee Gee's, Temptations', and Boyz II Men songs were better than SMTMOBL, don't you tink so???? Don't they harmonize so beautifully???? I'm SOOOO glad they sung a Boyz II Men song b/c on that same nite, Boyz II Men were in town to perform at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and i wanted to go but i couldn't! Seeing them sing "I'll Make Love to You" was almost as good, cuz dat's one of my favorite songs in da world!!!! Love dat song...

Anyway, to conclude, BSB should've won Song or Record of the Year and Best Pop Album, Santana should've won only like... three (c'mon, ya gotta give the old guy some credit man.. 3 and 9, VERY big difference), and THANK (whatever is up there) BRITNEY SPEARS DIDN'T WIN JACK!!!! CHRISTINA AGUILERA IS MUCH BETTER DISPITE THE FACT THAT SHE IS BLONDE AS WELL!!! SHE SUURE CAN SING A HELLA LOT BETTER!!! TRY TO SING MORE THAN ONE OCTAVE WITHOUT CRACKING BRITNEY!!! JUST TRY!!!!! BET YA CAN'T DO IT, HUH???? YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!

Hehe... just had to get that out...

Anyway, i'm out. KTBSPA and good nite!!!

P.S. There's always next year, Boys, always next year... :)

No offense to Mr. Santana, but 8 Grammys are too much for someone who does not sing. Anyone, including the BSB, could pick a guitar as well as he does. I mean, the BSB were nominated for FIVE and they get NOTHING! Did you see the look on their faces when they were shown for Album of the year? I mean, I almost broke down crying when I saw A.J.'s face and the look he had, and I'm almost 18! And then they get criticized for not being real "artists" by the Calgary paper, and said that their music is not of quality. Come one! Anyway, the BSB were the top selling act of 1999 and continue to soar on top of the world. Who needs some stupid award telling them how successful they are: that's what the fans are for.

I loved the BSB's performance! It was gr8t, I mean it showed that they all have gr8t voices, even my parents agreed on that. Of course, they like the BSB too, though. But even my rocker friend Ali thought it stunk that BSB didn't get a grammy! I was mad about that, but I guess it happens to everyone sometime. -And oh yeah, didn't your parents just loved the fact that BSB performed w/ Elton John? Mine were stoked!!! Of course, my 'rents aren't the normal parents though. But as always, BSB did gr8t no matter what & are still some of the most talented peops on earth no matter what, so KTBPA, KTAJPA(keep the AJ pride alive-no duh!), and PEACE OUT!!!

This is Supa' Freak sayin' Good night & I LUV BONEDADDY!!!
