What do you think about the outcome of the 2000 Grammy Awards?

If it has nothing to do with the words in the song then what the hell is the point of having them around? OH GEE MAYBE THATS BECAUSE THEY GIVE U A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE SONG!!!! So what was the point of brian in the hospital and kevin watching the homevideos and aj crying and nick walking alone on the streets and howie invisioning his desceased sister? Look at nsyncs video for God must have spent a little more time on u. It shows a mother who goes through the phases of her son growing up until he finally goes off into war. She is all worried that he will die and so is his gf. Then he comes home safe and sound. Tell me that has nothing to do with god protecting her son for her. Spending a little more time on her son because she showed him so much love in his childhood years. KA u ARE extremely thick headed. Get help. Up my royal @$$ music videos have nothing to do with the words. I must say I'm extremely upset. U'r telling me how I could say so much stuff about u since i don't know u???? Well.... u don't know me either. So how could u say so much stuff about me??? ya SMTMOBL can have so many meanings. But if u really listen hard to the lyrics and really take it in. It all ties to the music video. I'm a very VERY serious musician. I have been involved with music since i was basically in diapers. My mom has been teaching piano for over 20 years. I grew up with music. It is my passion. The reason why I live. When it comes to music I take it very seriously . VERY seriously. And i don't appreciate u saying how it doesn't matter howe long u've been a fan. Because it does matter. Obviously if u can stand listening to the same music group for 8 years then they MUST be good. right? I mean why would u listen to them for so long? If I thought a group totally sucked then I wouldn't listen to them anymore. I don't listen to bsb because of their looks. Thats stupid. If u think they are so hot then just buy a poster or something. And I do know what else goes on in the" business". I'm not as niave as u think. I probably know more about the business then u do. I have a group. We are called Fetish. Right now I am in the process of getting 3 more members. I just finished writing the song If Only. That will be our first single. I would never have gotten as far as i am now with my group if i hadn't looked into the music business and found out what happens. A LOT goes on. U have the band, that plays the backgrund music for u. Then the singers, which sing the songs. U have the audio digital sound people that enhance the sound of u'r voice on the cd. Basically they make u sound clearer. Plus the other people that get all the other"mistakes" fixed. What i really wanna know is WHAT truth do i need to figure out about the boys? what? what is it that ails u? Do u want me to see u'r opinion as being the only opinion? Is that it? SO because u are niave and opinionated means that u are right and i'm wrong? I don't think so. Just because u don't see BSB the same way i do doesn't mean u know more than me. And i'm not saying i know more than u. I respect u'r opinion. I really do. But basically saying that i'm a teeny-bopper and that i only like bsb for their looks is totally wrong. U need to get past this pop boy band stage and look at it more as of a true talent they possess, because the music industry is EXTREMELY competetive. It takes A LOT more than just good looks to get u signed. So obviously if jive signed them then they must have SOME talent . Right? so just think about it. Do they not have talent? Or do u just not prefer their type of music. I love the boys as much as the rest of you, but when it comes right down to it, Santana IS talented. He's been in the business for frickin' 30 years. Doesn't he deserve a Grammy compared to a "boyband" who's been in business since...mid 90s? I think so. And while Santana only had that one hit that got him all those Grammys...that one hit was very good. If you're a guitar player, you know what I'm talking about. Santana, while he may not sing much, is very good at what he does, as are the boys. The only difference is, boybands aren't as respected as classic rock musicians. So my final thought? Don't diss Santana just because he swept the Grammys. While the boys didn't win one at all, Santana deserved it just as much (if not more) than they did. Could he be any hotter?! I've never seen a guy so incredibly HOT in my whole life! I was so disappointed that they didn't give any awards to my boys! I think that was really, really unfair. Especially since Santana only had that 1 hit single that got him all those awards. He definately didn't deserve album of the year, he's only had that one damn song and BSB have had 3 singles off of Millennium plus they've sold millions of copies. The Backstreet Boys put on an AMAZING performance, as always! I couldn't have been any more proud of them for getting to sing with Elton John. Omigod they were soooooo awesome! I read an article in Entertainment Weekly that said that a lot of acadmey members probally wouldn't of voted for them because of a fear of another Milli Vinnile incident, which I think is a punch of bull. The boys are nothing at all like those guys and their talent is real. But i don't think that the night was a total loss. I think thye showed the members of the acadmey what they were really made of when they performed not once, but twice. Not to many people have done that in the same night. And i think by a legend like Wlton John asking them to perform with them, shows just how good they really are. If they can be respected by a legend like him than the critics and the rest of the music world should learn how to respect them too. I also was really happy to see that Howie was wearing a Lupus loop (they all were supposed to be wearing one when they got there but i'm not sure if they were). My grandme has been working with the Lupus Foundation for many years now, and we also have a history of it in our family, and it made me extremely happy to see him supporting the cause!!!!!!!!!
