He definetly deserved every reward he got. He is a very talented man who has been around for decades and i don't think that the Backstreet boys were too upset that they lost to the all mighty Santana. It was probably an honor for them just to be nominated in the same catogory as him. So as i said before stop dissin Santana just cuz he won a few Grammys and the Backstreet boys did not. I just wanted to say, whoever you are, the person coming on the site and writing all those nasty things about the boys, grow up and get a life you loser. I must admit that I was kind of disappointed that the boys didn't win an award and they really deserved one because of all the hard work they put into "Millenium". Personally I"m not a Santana fan, but they're alright I guess. It took him many years to get this big break so he should be proud of himself for taking home all those grammys. I still think the backstreet boys deserved some of the awards and it's too bad they didn't win anything. I agree with all you fans who said Nick's hair looked good, because he looked absolutely gorgeous, and he's not even my favourite boy...it's AJ (he was cute too,by the way) And they did a really good job performing those little clips of a whole bunch of songs, and later with Elton John. Backstreet Boys you rock, and you should be very proud of yourself. I will be honest...I really didn't expect the Backstreet Boys to win any of the really big awards, like Record Of The Year or Album Of The Year because of the fact that in those categories they were up against a "legend" like Carlos Santana. But I really felt like they had a great chance to win Best Pop Album. The fact that they DIDN'T win Best Pop Album just defies all logic. OK, check this out--the nominees for Album Of The Year were BSB, Dixie Chicks, Santana, Diana Krall, and TLC. Dixie Chicks won the Best Country Album, Santana won the Best Rock Album, Diana Krall's album won her category, and TLC won Best R&B Album. BSB not winning Best Pop Album makes NO SENSE! If they think Sting's album is so freakin' great, why didn't they nominate him for Album Of The Year! Also, I am ticked that they did not win Best Pop Performance By Duo Or Group With Vocal. "Maria, Maria" by Santana has barely even been out long enough to qualify!!! What is up with that!!!
