Hello everyone. Let's forget about the Grammys for now. The BSBs were #1 on the Top 40 Countdown last Sunday. MILLENNIUM went up two notches on Billboard. On the Adult Contemp. chart, the BSB have TWO singles: "Show Me The Meaning" and "I Want It That Way" are both in the top 10. Our Boys are doing just fine. The important thing is they are providing us with wonderful music. I listen to MILLENNIUM or BACKSTREET BOYS every day. Their music enriches my life! I read that the BSB are going to go off to a retreat somewhere and start getting ready to record. They'll be away from everything and just enjoy making beautiful music. So let's look forward to their next album and continued quality music from the BSB. The commercial acceptance of the Grammys doesn't mean that much, nor does TRL (which is so inaccurate--anybody could hire a bunch of people to vote on TRL. It's not necessarily the fans voting). What counts is how their fans feel about the BSB. I'm with them for the long term.

I think it's great that Santana won some Grammies, cuz his album is really good but not all the Grammies!. I think our Boys really deserved to win a Grammy, cuz Millennium is a great album!

I think that they should have given SANTANA a lifetime achievement award .... or some 'comeback' award -- but not to have them dominate and take all the awards!! Lets see how many fans would chase after the band -- fly across the country to hear them -- sell out concert tickets in 1 hr. -- and sell as many C/D's and stuff as the BSB have done!! Really, back to back I can't see how Santana got so many awards ..... BSB has a much larger following ~ young and older alike love their music and are listening to it and buying it!! Let's get real .... does anyone agree!? I flew across the country with my daughter to a BSB Millennium concert (last October) and I can't imagine doing that for a Santana concert. BSB music rocks! Let's hear it for BSB eventho they didn't win those awards -- they have won many 'heart awards' in the past years and years to come!

BSB did a wonderful job at the Grammys. It's obvious that they have grown as artists.

Hi ppl, I just posted my p.o.v. about the Grammys...and I got to thinking...any of you BSB fans that have scanners, and were lucky enough to see the Boys in concert and took pix, would you like to trade concert pix online? I went to their show last night and I just got some of my pix developed...some were kinda fuzzy (it was sorta dark) but some came out alright. So I'm going to scan them ASAP (as soon as all are developed, I'm also trading with some girls that went to the show tonight who had better seats) and we can trade online. Wouldn't that be cool? Just send me an email and we'll talk about it. We can even trade some info about our concerts if u want. KTBSPA!!! ~kat~

I saw the Grammys and it's a shame that the most talked about thing off of it was not true musical talent but the "dress" that Jennifer Lopez wore. Jenn...you now know what dress you can use for your next album cover... You might sell millions of albums, but we truly know why you're so popular. As for Santana's winning all the Grammys...good job dude, savor it now because next year, Backstreet's Back. I saw them last night in concert...and they were spectacular. Why is it that people dis them? Because they are a bunch of hypocrites. Why? Because they would never call Boyz To Men a boy band, they call them a R&B vocal group...not a 'black boy band.' They're a bunch of guys that sing wonderful love songs. So do BSB. But why the boy band label? They're a pop vocal group...and talented! So what if they have young fans? What...you wanted 70 yr. olds to be the only ones to enjoy those youthful, talented, gorgeous guys? And musically..you can buy their albums without having to worry about explicit language in the songs. I believe Santana deserved some of the awards he received, but sometimes the Grammy people go over the line...and I think this was one of them. Backstreet Boys, you definitely deserved one. KTBSPA, ~Kat~

Ok. First off, the performance was absolutely beautiful. They sounded great and when they backed-up Elton John, WOW. Next, Santana deserves what he got though I think that BSB should have at least gotten "Song of the Year" and "Album of the Year." It's not about the album sales, I know. But, the Grammys shouldn't exclude the top seller for 1999. The Backstreet Boys have worked damn hard to get to where they are and even though I'm glad that Santana won all those awards (he's from my hometown), I honestly don't think he should've gotten all those Grammys. Then again, who knows? Maybe next year, BSB will be nominated for even more and will win.

I would just like to say that Santana didn't deserve all those awards. The Academy proved themselves to be once again predictable. They go with old favorites over newer artists. You know someone/thing has done the same thing one too many times when DJs will tell you who got all the Grammys, before the ceremony has even started. The same thing happened last year with Lauren Hill. I guess whoever is nominated the most wins all the awards. Next year, give me a list of nominees and I'll give you a list of winners, a month before the show.
