What do you think about the outcome of the 2000 Grammy Awards?

(No, I'm not talking about Snatana, I hate Santana!) And how can you say that the ONLY good part of the show was their performance? Sure, it was the best part, but not the only good part. What about when Christina Aguilera won for Best New Artist? That was a highlight for me because I think she's incredible. I thought her album was the 2nd best album of 1999. (But Santana's doesn't even come close to the top 100.) I was also happy for TLC, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Korn, Metallica, Shania Twain & Eminem. And how can you say that BSB had the ONLY good performance of the show? Like I said before, it was the best. But how can you sit here and type and say that nobody else did a good job. I thought Kid Rock had an awesome performance, and he didn't get an award either. Neither did Ricky Martin, Britney Spears, *NSync & Limp Bizkit. So BSB weren't even the only really popular people who left that night empty handed. I think that the boys did not win because some people who vote for the grammys are old and appricate old music. When they look down on the list they are like OMG! Santana is on the list. They looked awful (ie. Jennifer Lopez) W. Houston's outfit was just horribly ugly ~ the shoes! no!~Britney Spears' performance was queer! I didn't think she did that good~but she is a good dancer ~ I will give her that THE BOYS~they had the best performance of everyone! perfect harmonies and really good "grammy" outfits~~~I thought they did a really good job ~ and definitley deserved a grammy! way to go guys! you'll get 'em next time! Submitted by andrea from milwaukee wisconsin untited states Date: Fri Mar 3 10:31:35 2000 ok here i go, i am so pissed that backstreet boys didn't win an award they deserve them more then anyone. backstreet had the best selling album of 99 and santana didn't. i don't get why everyone thinks that santana deserved the awards over backstreet boys. in the winning process they should go by how many albums were sold and not who they think they owe it to because the artist didn't get a grammy 30 years ago. sanatana is a wash out and people need to realize that they are just like nsync they have fans but no one really pays attention to them. well that is how i feel. i'm outtie!!
