What do you think about the outcome of the 2000 Grammy Awards?

The songs were well written and the arrangements outstanding. Not too mention their album went Plantinum eleven times over. Their performance the night of the Grammy's was also outstanding. The vocal harmonies were tight and as usual they were awesome! It is a mystery why they were robbed of receiving at least one Grammy especially for I Want It That Way, which was a number one song and video all of 99. I think Santana's work was good, but it wasn't just Santana it was a lot of artists making that cd a seller. Where as you have the BSB who collaborate their talent into one awsome delivery and Millenium was it. To top it off no one can give a concert like they can. They give their all, and always deliver. They should feel honored by their five nominations,and lets hope next year they are taken seriously as they should have been this year! Millennium sold more copies than any other album and in the quickest time. They deserved it over Santana for sure. They sang beautifully and were awesome with Elton John--after all, he picked them specifically to sing with him--that says alot about how talented they are. Latin channel made a big propaganda e and didn't pass anything, just the pre- show!! Here, it was about 11:00 pm, I was awake, waiting the Backstreet Boys.... and nothing!!! I did't sleep that night and I had to woke up early because of my school... I know that you don't need to read this... I just wanted to express my feelings.. It's hard to a fan see that our life (the BSB) don't care with us.... they never came to Brazil... Groups like "Westflife", 'Five" and much more are making shows here... just the BSB can't make.... Just to be nominated for that many awards is an awesome accomplishment in and of itself! But remember, guys - this is the HIGHEST award you can be presented with in music. And it's NOT determined by record sales or fan votes. It's determined by the votes of fellow musicians and peers. SOMEONE in the music industry is listening, or else they wouldn't have gotten all the nominations! I truly believe that their NEXT endeavor will be the one that nets them the gold ring. And I have to say this: Even Santana said that the Boys should have won an award, and he praised their work!
