I think that of all the groups out there BSB will be the ones that will always be around. I mean its not like they lie to the fans...they tell us about everything. Aj went into rehab for the better...he won't be drunk and fighting with other BSB members and making them break up. They keep coming out with great videos and cds. I never was disappointed in anything they did or came out with. Everything is always 4 the fans. They always say they will never break up and they haven't lied to us yet! So even if one day they do break up I am sure they will keep making music. They must be doing something right cause all them other boybands want to be like them! I think that it all pretty much depends on them- if they say it's over then it would be over, BUT as long as they keep it up(hopefully forever) they will always have fans. It understandable, the guys have been in the industry since Nick was 13, now he's 21, and according to the statistics, they're due to call it quits. But to say that they're losing their edge and fan base is unfair to the group of men we have come to call the leaders of the 'pop revolution'. They may have gained more respect in musical circles and may not be writing songs along the lines of As Long As You Love Me or We've Got It Goin' On but that isn't a sign of the beginning of the end. It's just a sign of maturity. Life isn't perfect and guys do cheat on their girlfriends and lie about it etc, so the lyrical content of the Backstreet Boys songs aren't unrealistic, just more adult. In an Interview, AJ admitted that Millennium was the guys best album according to them. I have to agree. I like Black and Blue especially Shining Star, but Millennium was a showcase of their talent and a breakthrough into what became, in my opinion, the best year of their career. They may not have broken records or been in the news as much for being fantastic, but they gained respect from a majority of people who shunned them from the beginning. That alone, I think is enough to say that "Backstreet's Back" and here to stay. These guys (Nick, Brian, Kevin, AJ and Howie) have been through so much in order to achieve what they have. I think this is a time for fans and media representatives to stand by them and encourage them in whatever they want to do instead of backing off. They may not be what they were, but they're only going to get better and imagine what they will achieve when they do. I think they will be because now they are affecting the old generation and the new generation so I think they will be around for a pretty long time in one way or another.
