This article would be a good argument except for one small-but-oh-so-important-detail....the people expressing their opinions on the teen music industry are NOT teens. We as teens know what we want, and we want the Backstreet Boys. By predicting this, they are trying to relive history, but they can't. By remebering history, we make it impossible to repeat it. And are any of you fans that are reading this sick of the Backstreet Boys and their music? Probably not. The Backstreet Boys, with thier angelic voices and great songs, have grown and matured not only with thier fans, but with the times. I don't see an end to the Backstreet Boys for years to come. Besides, the sucess of the New Kids on The Block does not compare to that of the Backstreet Boys, and they were an entirely different groups. Comparing the two is unfair to the Backstreet Boys. Listen to a tape of NKOTB, then listen to the Backstreet Boys albums, and you will see that they have totally different songs and sounds. Besides, the Backstreet Boys

The Backstreet Boys are here today and will be here in the future.

Firstly, I am 36. There was this great song "Get Down" playing on the radio two years ago and I sang along everytime I heard it. Then I was watching Much Music and heard the song. That was the first time I saw the Boys. I had no idea what they looked like before that - I just knew I really enjoyed the song. Of course, my reaction to seeing them was "Ouch, too cute".

Since then, the Backstreet Boys have evolved and grown considerably. The greatest difficulty in most bands is communication and I know the BSB have got thier act together on that count.

Four concerts, several videos and multiple CD's later, I still enjoy the music as it makes me soar inside. Fans that like a look will always come and go. I put more faith in BSB fans and the BSB love thier fans and performing.

I think that the article on the boybands' days being numbered is extremely true. It had to happen someday, and, we can all see it already happening to 'N Sync. In the words of Robbie Williams, "The most interesting things about these boybands is when you see them on television, and you see them start to crack, right before your eyes, they just start to get tired. It's interesting when they start doing the drugs, and start fighting with each other, visiously". That wasn't exactly quoted, but, close enough. I agree with him, though.

I think BSB will be around for a while. They have been around for six years so why would their fans stop caring now? If fans support BSB then BSB will keep giving the fans what they want, entertainment. I know I will be a fan for as long as I live. I'm sure others agree with me. If anyone has any comments or would like to talk e-mail me. Thanks for listneing... Brittany

I agree that yeah teens get older and realize that they arent in love with with the group anymore. But for me i have already gone through that and i am still buying the BBOYS music. It doesnt matter how old u are the music is amazing and that is what keeps the fans buying there cd's and the concert tickets. The BBOYS are the exception to the "Boy Band". I think that older adults are catching on and also buying the albums which is what the boys want. They have matured through their music which has helped them gain fans of all different ages. As long as the fans keep buying the music and Concert tickets the BACKSTREET BOYS are here to stay.

Hi! I think the Backstreet Boys have the potential to be successful as artists for as long as they want to be. They've already proven that they can make music that goes beyond bubblegum pop and have real genuine talent. I think they'll continue to grow on each album they put out and earn more respect in the music industry as they do so. So my guess is that the Backstreet Boys will be around for a while!

I do not agree with the article. Backstreet boys are going to be around as long as they want to be around. They are soo talented and dedicated to what they do. And they love their work so much. I parly agree that all "boy bands" sound the same. But they only sound the same because stupid N STYNK can't get it through their heads that copying Backstreet boys won't make them as popular as them. Anyway, I've been a fan ever since I was 12 and I'm 16 now. I know that as I continue to grow older, I'm also going to continue to love the Backstreet boys. Obviously I'm not going to be as obsessed ten years from now but I'm always going to be a fan no matter how old I get. As for the whole girl power thing, I think that might be true but Backstreet boys will still be ahead of them. I would be soooooooo pissed when the day comes when someone with no talent or brains like BRITNEY I DON'T HAVE ANY TALENT SO I'LL GET A BOOB JOB TO ATRRACT PEDOPHILES AS FANS SPEARS ever get ahead of Backstreet Boys. She is sooo annoying. I am so sick of hearing her stupid whiny voice and seeing her bounce her stupid breast implants around. Someone should get her a bra for Christmas. Anyway, I got a little off topic there. Backstreet boys are here to stay wether all the critics like it or not so they should just learn to deal with it.
