That article sucks and it doesn't say anything because Backstreet Boys know how to handle their Bussiness.I don't think that they only have only a younger audience and is a fact that they don't.Probably the other bands can be vanish but never the backstreetboys & the female bands or singers can't never take over the BSB fact that is so difficult that the girls can take over a work that is already done when the are the starers one.A boy can tell a girl how much he care but if the boy doesn't tell you nothing ,how you spect that a girl tells you for him.Meaning those girls bands tell boys how much they care but without BSB who is going to tell you that they care about you(no more larger than life)I don't think so.

Now, I'm not going to yell and scream like a teenybopper, thou there is nothing wrong w/ being one! I'm just going to put it simply. The New Kids On The Block faded quick because they couldn't stand eachother and like the article said they called girls "Dirty Dogs". When ur audience is ALL girls, you dont call them dogs! Now, NSync may fad because of their thousands and thousands lawsuits right now. If they can get their album out, maybe they can still stay in the runnings. The Backstreet Boys on the other hand have nothing against them, except for the fans. Why? Kevin is 28, he has a girlfriend he's been with forever and in a few years, he is going to want to start a family. Some fans won't like this and stop buying the albums and magazines. Same goes with Brian and the rest of the guys. If they can keep their fans after they get married and settle down, then in my opinion, they deserve EVERYTHING they get.

I'm really not sure why I'm actually commenting on this but anyways, first comes first: "But the folks in the know, who have watched boy groups and girl groups come and go, say the end is now in sight for Orlando's most famous pre-fab fives. Every Menudo, New Kids on the Block, New Edition or Spice Girls has its moment. And then the moment is gone." I just wanted to comment on that real quick...notice how they only mentioned the true 'fads' of the moment...they failed to mention acts such as BoyzIIMen who too started out as a poppish, 'boy-band' act. And just quickly scanning thru the most highly regarded artists of all time, there's Madonna. Come on, when she first came, do NOT even try to tell me they didn't think she was just a fad that would fade quickly...I mean, how she acted, her songs, her attitude - she musta been defined as a thing of the times. But NOW, she's a goddess! So there's my two cents on that..

I only got throught the first few paragraphs and that is the biggest piece of crap I have ever read. Yay girls, yeah not. And 'NSync are cooling off fast', of course they are, everyone finally realised they suck.

Well, well, well. It looks like these critics seem to know that they can predict the future. So maybe they will become uncool, or maybe they'll be like Madonna who in my opinion is "ageless". Nevertheless, "little miss editor" seems to think that she is the expert but I remember a lot of critics that said Madonna wouldn't last and look at her now. "Growing with your audience" is not impossible and I wish the BSb good luck.

that stupid person from seventeen magazine should just keep her cooments to herself , because if anyone rembers in the may issue she gave millenium a bad review any ways . her saying that they will fizzle in six months is kinda umm stupid , didn't they all say before millenium came out. girls are not going to take there place maybe someone will realize what a stupid bimbo brittney spears!! is unlike the backstreet boys she lip syncs all of her performances and she had a boob job and will not admitt to it . plus the backstreet boys have always proned the critcs wrong and they will continue to do so

Some people have to learn look around... There are a lot of Boys Band, but Backstreet Boys are diferent of them. They are the only one that REALLY SING, and you can just listen their cds and you'll feel good! You don't need look at them to love their music. I think they could be considerate like Boys II Men! Listen at AJ's voice! That's the best voice I've ever heard! Brian's voice... so sweet! Howie's voice is so powerful! Nick's voice is so wonderfull! And Kevin's voice is so sexy and hot! And their songs are just wonderfull. And they're learning more and more...

While I do not totally agree that the BSB days are numbered, the fact remains that no band ever stays together forever. Look how many times the Rolling Stones have broken up, and got back together over the decades. Aerosmith who used to be my all time favorite band, besides the old group Heart aka Heart Mongers, have had many times in their years of records to have slump times.
