The BSB will be around as long as we love them!!!!!!!!!! I never used 2 be a fan. A couple of years ago I was even calling

them New Kids colognes! Then I watched the PPV concert, and I was like "Whoa! these guys are 4 real! Now I have all

their CDs and some older stuff. I'm constantly listening 2 their music, watching their videos, or surfing web pages

about them!! I'm starting my own web page 2!!! BSB are getting older, and so are their fans. As they make music

they will become better singers, songwriters and producers. More people will realize they aren't just a fad!

I don't care what it says in some magazine article! The boys will be around as long as we want it that way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KTBSPA 4EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a huge BSB fan, so naturally, I was sickened when I read this article. Not only because these smart-ass music people think boy-band days are numbered, but also because they were predicting a rise with bottle blonds who can barely sing. (So shoot me. I can't stand Britney or Mandy or any of those other hoes.)

I heard someone say this once, but I forget who: "In a trend, only the real talent sticks around." That's totally true.

Finally, about that last comment about how adults bought "Millennium" but are ashamed of it, I have one thing to say:I can name more than fifteen adults in their thirties and forties who proudly say that "Millennium" is one of their favorite CDs.

I think that the Backstreet Boys will last for a long time. But they won't be the most popular act, they'll probably all have solo projects going on in 5 years, and they are VERY talented, but you have to face the fact that they want to settle down in life, and get married, have kids, and raise a family. I do know that they'll probably be doing something in music. And I know that they'll PROBABLY be split up in 10 years. But people don't understand that 15 years is a LONG time in the music business, and 15 years of SUCCESSFULLNESS is GREAT! They'll take long breaks, I know that. It's just a fact of life. I'm a real big fan, and I sure as heck don't want them to split up, and it's hard to think about it, but it's gotta happen EVENTUALLY. Thanks everybody, email me, ZachMillennium@AOL.com for comments, positive only please, I really don't want to deal with hate mail, I never have and don't plan to, Thanks! Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and A Happy Y2K!

i don't think that it's for a magazene editor or whoever that person is to decide if the backstreet boys will stay around, she isn't the 1 buying the records and keepping the backstreet pride alive, we the fans are so if any 1 knows it would be us and not her i know i will definally but their next record, i can't speak fot the rest of the fans but for me the backstreet boys are here to stay.

WHATEVER!!!!! Those people are adults and don't think like we do!!!! They don't go through the same stuff, so they only judge from their opinion, and that's all it is, just an opinion. More people are buying their CD's everyday, so that's says something, right???? I LOVE THE BSB AND SO DOES EVERYBODY ELSE WHO IS READING THIS!!!!!

I don't think bsb should even be included in this article. As Johnny Wright said, they are maturing with their audience. They are five very capable vocalists. Which is more than I can say for most other teen pop acts. And personally, I'm insulted that this journalist thinks that every teenage girl who likes the backstreet boys is the victim of middle aged bussienessmen trying to make a buck using five pretty faces. I happen to think bsb are a lot more than just pretty faces, and it was their music that hooked me.

No!!!! And anyone who wakes up in the morning and suddenly decides that ANY certain type of music is most likely a teenybopper who only likes the BSB or NSync or WHOEVER because they think they're cute. To tell you the truth, when I saw the BSB on TV for the first time, I didn't think they were all that good looking. (but of course I've changed my opinion!!) Even though I didn't (at the time) think they were very cute, I went out and bought their CD the next week. WHY? Because I liked the SONG!!!! Sheesh! These people who only like groups because they think they're cute need to get a clue! Sorry if i sound really mad because I AM REALLY MAD!!!!!! This is partly because everyone at school thinks that I am one of those people that are like that!!! NOT IN A MILLION BILLION TRILLION YEARS!!!!!! Sorry again. I'm just still really mad. And everyone thinks that Brian is my favorite BSB because I think he's cute. The main reason is because I think he has the best voice out of all of them. I love all of their voices, it's just that there's something about Brian's that just...oooh, it's kinda like when you realize that you don't have any homework. Or when you come home from school and the house smells like cookies, or my mom's homemade spaghetti sauce. It's really hard to describe. It's just one of those things that can comfort you almost no matter what. I dunno, maybe I'm just insane...

I think that evry artist will not be as popular someday and maybe burn out a little, but I don't think BSB will dissappear. Their music appeals to everyone and they have real talent. I don't think it's right for people to predict what will happen to musical artists. I think they should sit back and see what really happens. I will always love BSB. I'm 16 now and the crush may go away but my love for their music never will.

Okay, here's the thing. I don't like Britney Spears much so I won't even go there. If the Boy bands' fans keep up their spirit and buying their CDs and merchandise such as t-shirts, posters, and books, those boy bands will last. It's really up to the fans to keep them in the limelight. About all that talk about their music being corny, everyone has their own taste of music and nobody should try and change that!!!!!! Some people like pop and some people like rock, so just lay off!!!!!

I really disagree with this article because I think the Backstreet Boys have grown with age...they have improved on many areas over the past 7 years....their music has matured and they have matured as a group....yet they still never fail to please their fans with heart-thumping style and i-feel-like-fainting lyrics. I love the Backstreet Boys and have been a fan for 3 years. The backstreet boys will definetly go head strong into the Millenium and will continue to awe the world with their music and talent. KTBSPA!!! GO BACKSTREET BOYS!!!
