I don't agree that the days of the BSB are soon over. Sure, they're not going to be around forever coz nothing is forever. But the Backstreet Boys are certainly gonna be around for another long while. With Millenium being Diamond that just proved that they're still stronger than ever. The only reason they are losing their younger audience is because the younger audience are growing up with them. But it doesn't matter--young or old--their music is for everyone. And even if their time is up--they will always be in our hearts and their music will always be heard 'til eternity & I do believe that somewhere along the way, they're going to find their way back to the face of music and WOW their fans once again.

keeping the backstreet pride alive,

When I read the article I was like "What a bunch of bologny!" I truly believe in my heart that the boys are going to be here for a looooooooong time. I mean look at how huge the die-hard fan base is, how great their music is, and how loyal they are to ALL their fans. They have the perfect formula. As long as they keep making their beautiful music I will always be the first in line to pick up their latest CD!

I think that the Backstreet Boys will last a long time! N'sync and all the others probably will be gone by next year because they are not unique! Bsb was first and they are really talented. They can really sing, unlike Britney and all those. They won't dissapoint the fans, because they are nice guys. Who cares what the critics say, as long a the fans love them they will last.

It is true that no band lasts forever. But, they can "live" longer if they are fed by their fans desire. After I read this article, I thought that maybe they are right by saying every band fades and some day, unfortunately and hopefully long from now, our lovable boys will too. I have noticed that over the past few years, the bsb have sticked to their promise of being loyal to their fans and how we the fans thrive for them. I feel that a band is only as good as its fans and if we keep living for them they will keep living for us. KTBSPA!

Well, after reading that article, it got me thinking. The Backstreet Boys are here to stay, as long as fellow FANS, like me and you, stick around and support them through their ups and downs. I could careless if NSync and 5ive died out. Who cares what "Seventeens Music Editor" or whoever the hell she is thinks?!? I know that BSB is the absolute best band out there. Unlike most "boy-bands" BSB trys hard, and when they've made it to the top, they try even harder. They are loyal to their fans and try to give back to them, unlike NSync, according to the stories I've heard about them. Don't get me wrong, I'm a total LFO fan, and I support them too, but I'd MUCH rather be listening to BSB when they're 80-something and singing from their nursing home rooms, than LFO....well, I'll quit rambling! KTBSPA!!!!

Okay i must say there is at least some truth that "boy bands" come and go,but the backstreet boys arent your average boy band. i mean just check out the new rolling stone cover if you dont believe me. they have grown as is their fan base. the reason they will die out in those magazines is because the "teeny bopper" fans themselves are growing up, and reading more mature magazines such as rolling stone, etc. as long as they are in it for the fans and dont let their success go to their heads the fans will support them and then the media will have to cover them or suffer the consequences.

No group lasts forever, it's inevidable that someday groups/band/solo artists or whatever, will break up/retire/or just end their career as musicians. In this article the focus was on the boy bands and how they will break up and blah blah blah. Notice how they mentioned Nsync in there? Something like Nsync is fading fast because of their legal troubles. But when they mentioned the BSB, they said something like, they'll be around for a while because they know how to grow with their audience. That made me very proud of them, but I didn't need that reassurance. I already knew they'd last for a long time, you can just tell. And just as long as they have their normal group of teenage fans (aka us) and then that ever growing group of adults, they're gonna be around for awhile, no matter what Chris Rock says!!!!

I think that these people don't know what they are talking about. I have liked the Backstreet Boys since they first came out. I was a younger fan. They say that when they capture an older audience then they will use the young ones. And i am afraid that, that is untrue, they can have both. I am a fan of them as well as my mom and my younger brother. As long as we keep supporting the boys, they won't die out soon. KTBSPA!!!!!

the rule that they have for "boy bands" is not true. the only reason theyre saying that is because nkotb went out in a few years is because they called girls "dirty dogs" in a song, so they lost all their fans. there will be no end to the backstreet boys, just like nick said on the disney concert. their success& fans will grow with them! the bsb are an exception to the "rule" cuz 1. theyre not fake, 2. they LOVE their fans & try to give back to what they've received, & 3. they're AWESOME! K*T*B*S*P*A!

When I read the article, I didn't get nearly as upset as a lot of others did. It is not fact; it is merely the opinion of the author. We all have opinions on whether or not the Backstreet Boys will last. I personally think they'll stick around for a few years to come due to their increase & wide variety in die-hard fans. However, I do know that they will die out. People will start liking new groups & the BSB will begin to fade. Until then, I will Keep the Backstreet Pride Alive.
