I DON'T THINK THEIR DAYS ARE NUMBERED, WHY DO POEPLE HAVE TO GO ON ABOUT THAT SUBJECT ALL THE TIME?

I think this article is completely wrong. The backstreet boys are a great harmonizing group who's sounds and music grows with there audiences.

Well....I really think that article was unfair. I mean, it's really rude to compare them, anyway. Who cares about 'New Kids On The Block'? Just because they ended doesn't mean that Backstreet will. And who cares about *N Sync? They were right about them; they ARE fading away. But the Backstreet Boys have been in this business for six years even though for some of those years they weren't famous. Basically, this article was fake. They were just trying to get some money out of the magazine that this was printed in.

I don't know what to think of this article. I like how they said that BSB are the exception to the rule, but the rest of it just gives me a bad vibe. I think that BSB will stay popular as long as they keep on making good music. As far as NSYNC goes, I don't really care. I wish these news people would stop trying to make predictions about the future and just write about something worthwhile!

I definitely think that the Backstreet Boys will be around for awhile, not just until next summer like the article says. I can't say the same for all the other boy groups out there, but since the BSB were here first, they set the ground rules for all the other bands.

One thing Bsb might not be around forever things happen that we have to live with! Sure Kevin might get married HE's 28!! AJ will become weirder and Nick will be in comptision with his sibblings. The important thing is that us fans rember them when we are 80 years old They will still be alive in our hearts.

These people are trying to kick the "boy groups" out. We just have to know that we love them, and most importantly, love their music. What they said about waking up and thinking their music is corny doesn't apply to Backstreet Boys like it did New Kids, because BSB really does make good music. And we can all like girl singers as well as BSB; I definitely do. I guess it's up to the BSB fans in the year 2000 to show whether the boys will have a nice, long career, or if they will "fizzle in the next 6 months."

Hey.. I just read that article and I think it is ridiculous.. I think in my opinion ... that the BSB's have already surpassed NKOTB... and as long as the BSB's are around I know I will continue to love their music!!! If you listen to the first album by BSB. which was entitled: Backstreet Boys. and you listen to there newest album entitled Millennium... you can hear the change in their Music and this CD has been there most successful as of right now... so I think the cycle you are talking about is working backwards for BSB because they have gotten more fans now then they had before! When you said "kids age out of their love for these boy groups." Well that might be true, as you get older you may not care who Nick or Howies girlfriend is, but no matter how old you get you can never out grow the love for their MUSIC!!!! At concerts that I have attended I seen women double my age ( and I am 17!) acting worse then me! SO you can't say Kids age out.. becausse it isn't just little teenyboppers that like BSB.. I also I don't think you can go by what Chris Rock said, I think that what Chris Rock said was rude and in poor taste, and not just what he said to BSB, but all acts in general! I think personally if it would have been me Chris Rock was making fun of I would have gone up and during my THank You Speech, started saying stuff about him! So in general for that Roger Moore or whatever his name was.. please don't try to predict the future of any of those groups. if I wanted to get a prediction of the future I would call a 1-900 number! I hope BSB prove you and all other critics wrong and us fans are going to help them do it!!!!

I thought the story was stupid. I think the Backstreet Boys are gonna be around for a long long time to come. THey aren't like the other boy bands. They arent even a boy band, they are so much better. so whoever thinks that they are not gonna be around is jsut stupid. I think like Nsync and stuff will lose their popularity, but not BSB. They've been around for a long time and they are gonna stay around. That's jsut my opinion. Anyways, bye

Well, I just got done reading the article and im upset. how dare they say that! i like nsync and i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove the bsb but uhhhhh............ it is just irritating that they would say that. all those people are old and fat and are just jealous so they have to say stuff like that. i think they all got sticks shoved up their butts when they were little. Like the ever so very cute and hot Howie said it will last long if God willing. and he is right. it will last until God says enough. well if i keep going it will go on forever. so I just want to say that all those people can bite me!! Have a nice day!! K*T*B*S*P*A* and stay *NSYNC forever!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!
