Maybe they are right in some things, I mean of course they can't be around forever, but how long have people said: "Oh, they'll be gone in few months." Come on, face the facts! What band started out 7 yrs. ago and still hits the #1 at the charts with almost every single? What band recently sold out their entire tour in a day? The Backstreet Boys of course! What proves do they want? Besides when they're saying that their targeting audience is 12-13 yrs old. I don't think so. I've past 13 long time ago (two years) and still listen to their stuff a lot. So maybe they should think a bit more what are they talking about. After all, we (the fans) are the ones listening to their music.

I think they're right in some cases, but that day hasnt come yet has it? NO!! We just have to live day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second loving the BSBoys. In my heart and I think I can speak for other fans the boys will never die in our hearts even when they get older. Just forget the subject, afterall they are the most cutest, long lasting, and boy have they won many awards, hotties today and for a very long time. Keep on buying cd's, pis and other merchandise and KTBPA!!!!!

Days numbered? Ha hah give me a break! How long has everyone been saying that soon they'll fizzle out, and no one will care anymore? Pretty much from the get go. And who keeps comming out with hit singles, albums that reach number one within weeks after their release, and has tickets to every concert completely sold out with in mere hours? Well, the Backstreet Boys of course. Sure, sooner or later they won't be quite as popular as they are right now, but that happens to EVERYONE. But really, I think they're growing with their audiance; as we get older, so do they. I have liked them from the moment I heard of them, and have been a fan ever since. Love 'em to death actually, as I'm sure you can realte! I know I'm not the only one, and with millions of die hard fans out there like myself, it'll be a while until BSB is no longer heard of. So the guy who wrote that article doesn't quite see things how we (the fans) see it, and who should know better than us? After all, we're the one's who listen to them. And knowing myself, that for years to come, I hope to still be listening to Backstreet Boys, they won't be losing me as a fan any time soon, and I'm sure there are hundreds, or better yet, thousands who feel as I do. Hopefully anyway! For I have every intention of Keeping The Backstreet Pride Alive!

Ok, i think that article was a load of BS. BSB have already by far passed the NKOTB. totally. The people who say there gunna "fizzle down in the next 6 months" need to go learn the facts. Millennium just went DIAMOND. they aren't going anywhere that soon. a whole tour sold out in a day! i mean, c'mon. what more proof do you need?

Another thing, BSB have such a large and diverse fan base. I mean, people ages 5-75 have something to listen to! they have adult contemorary. then there is the pop for the teens and lil kids. and then there are the guy fans! i mean, with this many fans of different groups they're gunna be around for a lot longer than past this summer. so, those ppl who wrote that article can take it and stick it up their...ummm... yeah i think u knew what i was gunna say. ok, well, KTBSPA 4 EVER.

This article blows chunks. I mean, sure, the Boys mania will eventually calm down, what doesn't?? But, they'll always be here, whether that bitter old man likes it or not!! Even if they die tomorrow (Heaven forbid!!), they'll always be here, right?? And that's what counts. Their '5 minutes of fame' is FAR from being over!!! There will always be Backstreet, just like there will always be BSB fans, right??

Those people the music helped will never forget them. I know I won't.

I will admit that I am also an *N SYNC fan and got to see the very last concert on their North American tour in Edmonton, but just because I listen to them doesn't mean I'll forget our Boys! Just like I will also admit that I used to like Hanson, especially Taylor, for all of 6-7 months!! I found BSB after a period of deep depression, and I've been happy ever since!! Pretty soon it'll be 3 years. That's longest any 'obsession' of mine has ever lasted!!

Backstreet will always be here, whether that grouchy old man or any other people like it!!

Thanx,

KK

There are many people out there who think the BSB days are numbered, but haven't they been saying that for...how many years now? But, the BSB have continued to prove them wrong and are still going strong. They have shown musical growth and maturity throughout the past seven years and their audience has also grown with them. They no longer appeal to only the teenybopper crowd, but to young adults, parents, grandparents...and basically people of all ages, races and sexes. And, it's 'cause of this that they will continue to prove critics wrong. So, we should continue to support the BSB and they'll be around for a very long time. KTBPA!!!

i think that the people saying this are just jelous that they can't the money that bsb or *nsync are making. ya know what they say, "those who can sing, those who can't, write about it." and that's so true about these poeple. they think they know what is gonna happen to the "boy bands" of today just because that happened to nkotb(new kids on the block) or jackson 5. but they're wrong, they don't know what will happen to any of the groups, take nirvana for example, a lot of critics said that they would make it very far, then their lead singer (kirt coban) killed himself, and that group ended. so there for no one can predict the future of the groups of today. and everyone knows that they will eventually fade away, but that doesn't mean that it will happen soon. so when it happens, it happens. and no one can say when it will happen or how it will happen.
